Savaru IV — Kohtalon Mies
A Fabric 1.21.1 action-RPG modpack built around an in-house "Savaru" framework. 360+ curated mods, 12 playable classes, a 7-tier world-progression system, and a dungeon framework that's actually written for the pack.
What makes this pack different
Most "RPG modpacks" are a stack of class mods plus a quest book. Savaru IV — Kohtalon Mies ships with eight custom Savaru mods that re-define how progression, gear, dungeons, and even your control scheme behave. The vanilla mods around them aren't the system — they're the content the Savaru system runs on top of.

A genuinely large class roster powered by RPG Series + RPG Series Plus:

Backed by the full Spell Engine stack — Spell Power Attributes, Extra Spell Attributes, RPGMana, SpellHud — and reinforced by Better Combat, Combat Roll, Spellblades and Such, Simply Swords, Simply Bows, Simply More, and Pufferfish's Skills.
Every weapon you find can roll affixes from the Affixology pool, gated by your character level:

Boss roster includes ANARCHY Minibosses, Bosses of Mass Destruction, Brutal Bosses, Mutant Monsters, Trial Guardians, Repeatable Trial Vaults, and Nether's Trial.
Every dungeon entry is mediated by Savaru's Dungeonology: tickets drop from regular mobs (~6.6%), and you select EASY / NORMAL / HARD / BOSS difficulty before stepping through. The world-tier check, mob scaling, and loot quality all snap to whatever you picked.
📖 FTB Quest Book
A 28-chapter Quest Book with full English & Traditional Chinese localization, covering:
- Class paths — one full chapter per class (Witcher, Bards, Soulwarden, Knight, Mage, Cleric, Monk, Berserker, Rogue, Archer, Warrior, Gunslinger)
- Affixology • Worldology • Dungeonology • World Level • Final Chapter: Destiny
- Equipment collections, General Store, Exclusive Shop, Star Chart
- Per-class Epic / Legendary loot box reward tables
Translation is finalised — no leftover Chinese strings in the English book.
🖱️ Two Control Schemes, Switched Automatically
The pack ships Click-to-Move and WASD as first-class preset modes:
- Click-to-Move for dungeon delving (top-down ARPG feel)
- WASD for open-world exploration (first-person Minecraft)
Savaru's KeybindSync swaps the entire bound set when you change contexts — no manual remapping ever.
Defaults:
O — open Dungeon Menu
C — open Growthology Skills
` (hold) — show the server-wide Scoreboard (level / kills / damage)
- Edit HUD — unbound by default; assign in Options → Controls

⚠️ First-launch notes
- First boot will take noticeably longer than usual while the Savaru systems build their indexes.
- Most resource packs are enabled by default. The Excalibur main pack must sit below its compatibility sub-packs in load order — already configured for you.
- Pick a class via the Class Selection chapter in the Quest Book before doing anything else; many systems gate behind a chosen path.
- In multiplayer, all players must be on the same pack version.
