Rowkeeper
Rowkeeper makes harvesting predictable. In Survival, hold a hoe in your main hand, crouch, and right-click a mature crop to harvest and replant up to 16 crops in the direction you face.
How it works
Supports vanilla wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroots. The row stops at the first gap, unripe plant, different crop, protection denial, unavailable hoe or unloaded chunk. Nearby rows stay untouched. Each replanted crop reserves one plain planting item from its own drops; if none is available, that crop remains mature. An action-bar message reports the result, and /rowkeeper explains the controls.
At an unloaded chunk edge, harvesting stops before a crop edit could load a neighboring chunk through vanilla updates. That edge crop remains mature until the surrounding area is loaded.
Installation
Requires Minecraft Java 1.21.1, Java 21, Fabric Loader 0.16.14+, and Fabric API 0.116.6+1.21.1. Install in the client for singleplayer or on a Fabric server. Forge and NeoForge are unsupported.
No new blocks, items, world generation, accounts, telemetry or external services. Compatibility with individual claim mods requires testing. Back up worlds before changing your mod list.
Version 0.1.0 validation
Production-artifact and headless world tests passed, including 512 vanilla-loot comparisons, Fortune and Unbreaking checks, unloaded-boundary protection, and separate-process save/reload with and without Rowkeeper installed. A combined headless test with Mason's Fold passed. Graphical gameplay, normal connected multiplayer, server-only client compatibility and a standard Gradle build remain unverified in this environment. Test in a disposable world first.
