What's new

1.0.0 — first public release

The whole mod, in one go.

The Arcade Void — a dimension of concentric rings 320 blocks wide, over the void, joined by bridges and cut by lakes. Walkable Pac-Man mazes, pellets you eat by walking on them, three lives, a score, GAME OVER, and a fall that rewinds you from the sky instead of eating your inventory.

  • A Ghost City per ring, with a Mother Nest
  • Four bosses, one per ring: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, Clyde
  • Past the fourth ring the screen breaks: sliding rows, half-built walls, wrong colours, holes in the floor — and the Glitch, the fifth boss
  • A prize counter that sells what you can't craft: extra lives, longer Power Pellets, a permanent whistle, a level for your Pac-Man

Your Pac-Man — tameable with Ghost Fragments, levels 1 to 10 with Galaxy Berries, follows you, fights, and at level 10 can be ridden with a Joystick.

Ghosts that hunt from 20 blocks, turn blue on a Power Pellet, and pay 200-400-800-1600 in a chain.

The Arcade Cabinet — a block you actually play Pac-Man on, with a global high-score table and a wall Scoreboard.

The maze dungeon — six floors, nests, chests, a locked treasure room, and a boss arena under the last floor.

Villages get an arcade, and villagers can take the job of running it.

28 advancements, custom sounds, and an in-game Arcade Manual with every recipe inside its chapter.

Performance — the Void generates in about 1 ms per chunk. It used to be 14.3, and the fix was measured, not guessed: the world it builds is identical block for block (there's a fingerprint test in the source that proves it).
