Pac-Man Mod 1.0.0 — Minecraft 1.16.5
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.0.0 for Minecraft 1.16.5
The same mod, ported to 1.16.5. Nothing added, nothing removed: it does what the 1.12.2 version does.
Everything is here — the Arcade Void with its concentric rings, walkable Pac-Man mazes, pellets, three lives and GAME OVER; the Ghost Cities with a Mother Nest and a boss per ring; the corrupted rings past the fourth, and the Glitch; the tameable Pac-Man with ten levels and the Joystick to ride him; the playable Arcade Cabinet with its global high-score table and the wall Scoreboard; the six-floor maze dungeon with its treasure room and boss arena; the arcade hall in villages with a manager who buys, sells and runs a prize counter; 28 advancements and the in-game Arcade Manual.
What is different, and why
- The Void's sky is the End's starfield instead of the pellet sky. In 1.16.5 a dimension picks its sky from three built-in values, and adding a fourth means writing into a map the game keeps private. Not worth breaking on the next patch for a background.
- Villagers become arcade managers through the game's own job-site system (the Arcade Cabinet is the job block) instead of the hand-written rules the 1.12.2 version needed, because 1.12.2 had no job blocks at all. Same four rules, run by the game.
Requirements: Minecraft 1.16.5 and Forge 36.2.34 or newer. Client and server. A NEW WORLD: the Arcade Void is registered when a world is created, so an existing 1.16.5 world will not have it.
