Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Added
Customizable Player Models support
- Use skins with CPM models in saved looks and switch between them without restarting the game
- Preview models and their animations in the look editor after joining a world (the main menu shows the base skin)
- Get warnings about damaged CPM data and potential conflicts with active Fresh Moves and Just Expressions facial animations
- Customizable Player Models must be installed to display the models
CPM model imports
- Import
.cpmmodeland.cpmprojectfiles from your device or a link without manually exporting them to a skin first - If a model needs a base skin, choose one during import, then preview and save the finished look
- If the model data cannot be embedded in the skin, NCL Skins automatically uploads it to CPM Paste. This requires a licensed Minecraft account. The look depends on the published model remaining available
- Import
CPM capes and elytra
- Set the priority of capes and elytra built into a model relative to other providers
- Use a regular cape instead of CPM accessories while keeping the model and its animations
- Inspect available accessories in the
Embeddedcollection after joining a world without changing the look's saved assignments
MinecraftCapes capes
- Use MinecraftCapes capes for yourself and other players without installing the separate MinecraftCapes mod
- HD textures and animations are supported. Cape enchantment glint also works with Wavey Capes
- Set the provider's priority and open the service's account page directly from
Providers
Animated capes and more HD formats
- Import GIF animations and PNGs with vertically stacked frames. Up to 64 frames are supported, with frame sizes of 64×32, 128×64, 256×128, 512×256, 1024×512, and 2048×1024 pixels
- Use these capes in resource pack collections and save them in looks with their full animation
- Thumbnails play the animation on hover, while the full player preview plays it continuously
- The new HD and animated cape formats require NCL Skins 1.3.0. These capes do not appear in older versions
Embedded Sneaky Capes previews
- Preview the selected skin's cape in a separate editor card, even without joining a world
- Inspecting the cape does not change the look's saved assignments
Outer-layer controls on the providers screen
- Toggle the head, body, and leg outer layers when the provider configuration makes the look editor unavailable
- Changes apply to the player immediately and are saved in Minecraft settings without overwriting the saved look
Changed
- Provider refresh
- When a row is selected, the button refreshes only that source. With no row selected, it refreshes all enabled sources in the current tab
- Refreshing no longer blocks the entire screen. Other available actions remain usable while the source loads
Fixed
- Fixed Sneaky Capes rendering on other players and embedded cape recovery after reconnecting or refreshing appearance state
- An unavailable cape no longer discards a prepared custom skin waiting to be applied
- Fixed abrupt changes in model lighting when moving the cursor in menus and previews
- Selection and keyboard focus outlines no longer extend beyond the scrollable provider list
