# MobileNetworks: IoT Addon 1.0.0

**Version 1.0.0 — First full release**

Connected storage, automated crafting, coordinated mining and FE-powered tools, all controlled through your Mobile Networks phone.

## Storage and autocrafting

- Storage Hub gains integrated 3×3 crafting, with recipes, returned containers and item transfers validated by the server.
- Expanded interface displays 20×7 items, with continuous scrolling, search and compact **ID / QNT / A-Z** sorting. Abbreviated quantities use one decimal place; tooltips show the exact quantity.
- **Storage Tablet** opens the Hub available on the network directly. The phone also gains a Storage app.
- **IoT Crafter** stores 20 recipes configured with the screwdriver, accessible through ten slots on each side of the screen. Optional JEI and EMI integrations allow recipes to be copied into the pattern.
- Exporter requests autocrafting when stock is unavailable. The Hub plans intermediate items across Crafters, validates the recipe tree before consuming materials and reports missing recipes or resources on the phone. Craftable results display `*`, including `0*` when none are stored.
- **Rack 44U**, JBOD 4U blades and hard drives add persistent storage for large quantities. The rack supports up to eleven blades, with ten drives per blade; indicators show usage, capacity and free-space percentage.
- Hard drives use decimal B, KB, MB, GB and TB units. An installed drive's tooltip shows a single usage reading, updated by the server and matched to the correct drive.

## Mining and machines

- **Miner Central** coordinates up to 32 miners belonging to the same owner and dimension. Mark Area and Mark Chest provide guided selection with the screwdriver; Done saves the configuration.
- Before assigning work, the Central analyzes the entire area and counts mineable blocks, ignoring air and liquids. It divides the work into exclusive spatial sectors, seeking to balance block counts between machines. Analysis and targets persist when the world is reloaded.
- Each miner records its individual home when assigned work, deposits its items and returns home. The Central can send all members back to their respective homes. Saving a future configuration preserves the delivery chest for the active job.
- Areas respect the world's height and border, without artificial size limits. Missing or invalid chests have a specific error. Layers below -59 are rejected with a message explaining the bedrock restriction.
- Miners, Farmer and Caretaker move through liquids without being pushed by them. The Miner preserves liquids displaced during movement.
- Completion alerts from miners and the Central arrive in the phone's **Notifications** tab. Pending alerts persist until the owner can receive them; autocrafting failures use the same channel.

## Tools and energy

- **Smart Multitool** works as a pickaxe, shovel and axe, always with netherite harvesting level. It has a 5,000 FE battery; **Slow / Medium / Fast** modes consume 1 / 2 / 3 FE per block. Right-click opens settings and shows the charge.
- Vein mining follows identical blocks through all 26 neighbors and gathers drops at the initial block. The internal base includes vanilla ores and `#c:ores`; **Allowed blocks** provides Whitelist and Blacklist menus with sprites, search and scrolling, preventing a block from appearing in both lists.
- **Solar Charger** generates **100 FE/t** during the day and stores **20,000 FE**. Its five slots receive up to **500 FE/t per slot**, limited by available energy and the device's acceptance; distribution rotates between devices when energy is low.
- The Charger's dashboard shows stored energy, solar generation, the reason charging is paused and each device's charge. It checks the 100 blocks above; obstruction or nighttime pauses charging.
- Multitool and Charger expose standard NeoForge energy capabilities. Items and machines from other mods with the FE capability — including devices labeled RF that expose this interface — can receive or supply energy. Moving machines also accept FE, with energy consumption per cycle configurable on the server.

## Compatibility and visuals

- Updated for **Mobile Networks 4.0.2**, Minecraft **1.21.1**, Java **21** and NeoForge **21.1.238+**. JEI, EMI and Jade integrations are optional.
- Importer and Exporter interact with vanilla inventories and other mods' item capabilities, respecting sides, limits and components. Hub, Connector and machines also expose inventories for external automation. Ports are excluded from the IoT device list.
- Recipes use common material tags; Crafters can use equivalent ingredients. Farmer supports crops from other mods and rules supplied through datapacks. Block breaking, drops and inventory access respect protection events.
- **3×2 TV** displays four devices in independent panels; viewing cameras on the phone can coexist with TV feeds.
- Revised models and sprites: blades extend to the back of the rack, Crafter and Central have distinct silhouettes, and Charger occupies a closed cube with a solar panel. Overlapping faces were removed from all three models; all eleven addon PNGs use **32×32** textures. IoT cables have hardness equivalent to netherrack.
- Fixes for item conservation, persistence, inventories holding large quantities and extensive base-mod catalog data accompany the new integrations.

## Installation

Requires **Minecraft 1.21.1**, **NeoForge 21.1.238 or later**, **Java 21**, **Mobile Networks 4.0.2** and **Simple Voice Chat** (tested with **1.21.1-2.6.22**).

Install the addon and its required dependencies on **both the server and every client**. When updating, replace the previous addon JAR and keep only one version installed. Clients and server must use the same addon build.
