Preview, plan, build

• Unified JEMM equipment pages with an LDLib 3D preview beside live settings and performance.
• Edit dimensions and internal components without closing the preview. Rotate, zoom, hide the shell and inspect individual layers.
• Textured construction holograms: correct blocks disappear; wrong blocks and supported orientation mismatches turn red.
• Inventory-aware material shortages for the whole design or visible layers, saved designs, block selection, exact-item/NBT refill and completion notifications.
• Optional inventory-backed right-click and Shift-right-click batch placement when the server also has MekaPlan.
• Optional Nova Mekanism recipe search, EMI recipe linking and calculated production rates. More Thermal Evaporation and Mekanism Extras integration.

Requirements

Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge 47.4.18. Client dependencies: Mekanism 10.4.16.80, LDLib 1.0.50, EMI 1.1.24, JEMM 4.27, and TMRV 0.9.0+mc.20.1.

JEMM 4.18 is unsupported. Use TMRV or real JEI, never both. Real JEI 15.20.0.132 is an alternative to TMRV.

Mekanism: Generators is optional and enables its own structures. Nova Mekanism 1.2.2, More Thermal Evaporation 3.1.0 and Mekanism Extras 1.5.0 are optional; no addon is required.

Preview and holograms work client-side. For assisted placement, install the same MekaPlan version on the server too. MekaPlan itself needs only Forge on a dedicated server, not JEMM, LDLib or recipe viewers. The server must still provide the blocks being placed.

Start

Press K to open equipment. Edit the settings beside the model, then project a hologram. G anchors it, V toggles visibility, R rotates, arrow keys move it, Page Up/Down changes height and bracket keys change the layer. Assign the initially unbound required-block selection key in Controls.

The material HUD grows to the available screen height. Hold Alt and scroll the mouse wheel to reach every overflow item. Long item names wrap.

With server support, right-click places one projected block; Shift-right-click places visible blocks in batches. Survival consumes inventory materials and respects Forge placement events. Solid blocks and block entities are not overwritten. Tagged materials are protected unless explicitly held.

Notes

This is an alpha. Performance figures come from JEMM or supported addons and are estimates, not measurements of running machines. Completion checks physical blocks and supported orientations, not machine formation, settings or upgrades. Nova structures are fixed-size. Backpacks, storage networks and .litematic files are not supported. Shader compatibility is unverified.

Formerly named Mekanism: Structure Preview. The internal ID remains mekpreview: remove older copies when updating. Alpha.8 and alpha.9 use placement protocol 2 and can be mixed for assisted placement. Servers with earlier alpha versions need updating.
