  • 🛡️ Party companions are now protected from companion friendly fire.
  • 🐾 Pets owned by party members no longer attack each other when PartyLink is active.

🔧 Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where reviving a companion from a Companion Totem could overwrite an existing pet slot.
  • Fixed companion revival so it now checks for a truly free companion slot before restoring the pet.
  • Fixed existing companions being replaced or stolen when another pet was revived.
  • Fixed stored companions not always showing proper pet information in the pet selection menu.
  • Fixed multiple active companions causing HUD confusion by enforcing one active companion at a time.
  • Fixed party member companions attacking each other when PartyLink is installed.

⚙️ Changed

  • max_companions_per_player now controls how many companion slots a player can manage.
  • Only one companion can be active at a time for stability and balance.
  • Players can switch companions through the Companion Whistle menu.
  • Companion Totems now preserve more pet data, including rarity and original slot information.
  • The Companion Shrine can store an active pet as a totem without killing it.
  • Storing a pet as a totem does not create a Companion Heart.

🛡️ Stability

  • The Companion Shrine is protected during revival animations.
  • If the activating player dies or becomes unavailable during shrine revival, the inserted items are dropped safely.
  • Companion Totem and Companion Heart are no longer consumed when no free companion slot is available.

📝 Notes

  • This update is recommended for all multiplayer servers.
  • PartyLink support is optional. Loyal Companions still works normally without PartyLink.
  • For party-friendly companion behavior, PartyLink 1.0.0+ is recommended.
