Outbreak Protocol is the pressure mod of Federation Of Kaos. It adds a roster of common and Special Infected, and the Outbreak Director, which turns player noise into hordes and paces quiet stretches with patrols, trickles and specials.
Players face a 24-hour infection clock that ends in an undead transformation, with a cure chain to stop it. Survivor tools include the Perimeter Beacon safety dome, the Sleeping Bag, the City Waystone to the Lost Cities, and an Accessories screen that makes Legendary Survival Overhaul wearables work without Curios.
Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge 47 or newer. Augment Protocol, Carry Pack, TaCZ, The Lost Cities and Waystones are optional and add integrations when present. Install it on both the client and the server.
