Kaos Protocol is the progression and upkeep layer for TaCZ (Timeless and Classics Zero) guns in Federation Of Kaos. It adds no guns of its own. It decides how guns are unlocked, how they wear, jam, foul and get repaired, and how good each one is.
Guns are learned by salvaging a found gun into a Weapon Blueprint at a grindstone. Every gun wears per shot and breaks at zero. Under Realism mode, worn or dirty guns jam and must be cleared, cleaned with a Cleaning Kit or repaired at the Gun Repair Table. Each gun has three graded parts (Barrel, Action and Frame, from Common to Legendary) fitted at the Gun Upgrade Bench, and a silencer trades damage and fouling for a smaller Outbreak aggro radius. It also grants a first-join starter loadout.
Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47 or newer and TaCZ. Outbreak Protocol, Augment Protocol and Patchouli are optional. Install it on both the client and the server.
