Description
Fabricate
On-demand autocrafting and machine processing for Tom's Simple Storage.
Teach your network a recipe in the Pattern Terminal, then request its result directly from Tom's storage or crafting terminal. Fabricate plans ingredients and intermediate crafts and runs the work through connected Crafter Units and machines.
Features
- Craftable items appear alongside stored items in Tom's terminals.
- Crafting patterns support exact ingredients or alternatives accepted by the recipe.
- Machine patterns support multiple input/output groups, named nodes and item-tag matching.
- Choose between saved recipes that produce the same item when placing an order.
- Share input/output nodes between recipes. Outputs collect only the products and quantities expected by active requests.
- Recipe Provider clusters expand active recipe capacity. Recipes remain saved when capacity is removed; excess recipes pause instead of being deleted.
- Recipes, capacity and crafting hardware are shared across Tom's native beacon-linked networks where that Tom's version supports linking. Both ends must meet its loading and linking requirements.
- World-owned recipe libraries survive terminal and provider removal, with automatic upgrades for existing patterns and old dropped terminals.
- Copy library generates a portable Recipe Library book without crafting or ingredients. Import copy consumes one valid book while retaining the source world library; copies include paused recipes.
- The Crafting Monitor shows requests, waiting reasons and node status, and lets you cancel jobs.

Getting started
Connect a Recipe Provider, Crafter Unit and Pattern Terminal to your Tom's network. Save a crafting pattern, then request its output from Tom's terminal. For machine recipes, connect input/output nodes to the appropriate machine faces and select those nodes in the pattern. Supply fuel separately. For a vanilla furnace, insert ore from the top and collect ingots from the bottom.
Beta and world upgrades
Back up existing worlds before trying this beta. The supported builds pass automated crafting, processing, dedicated-server restart and chunk-recovery checks. Compatibility with every third-party machine has not been verified. Please include loader, mod versions and reproduction steps when reporting issues in the comments.
Fabricate is an independent addon. Tom's Simple Storage by tom5454 is required separately and is not bundled.
Development disclosure
Code and the Pattern Terminal/Crafting Monitor texture atlas were created using generative AI. AI also assisted with this description. The project icon is a render of the actual Recipe Provider inventory model.
