Copper Express

Copper Express brings copper-powered railway progression to Minecraft with faster booster rails, redstone station brakes, and connected minecart trains.

Build transport routes whose speed changes as copper ages, preserve your rails with honeycomb, and connect passenger and storage carts into trains of up to four minecarts.

• Copper booster rails: Four oxidation stages provide straight-track speed caps of 28, 22, 16, and 10 blocks per second.
• Waxing and scraping: Apply honeycomb to preserve a rail’s oxidation stage. Use an axe to remove wax and restore copper.
• Redstone brake rails: Unpowered brakes slow and hold carts; supplying power releases them.
• Minecart couplings: Hold a copper coupling chain in your main hand, sneak, and interact with two nearby carts to connect them. Sneak with an empty main hand to disconnect.
• Persistent train links: Couplings are stored in world data, with chain recovery for survival-paid links.
• English and Simplified Chinese translations.

Maximum speeds apply to continuous, loaded, straight powered booster track. Carts slow conservatively around bends, slopes, brakes, and track transitions. Copper Express does not load chunks.

Requires Minecraft Java 1.21.1, Fabric Loader 0.16.14+, Fabric API 0.116.6+1.21.1 or a newer compatible version, and Java 21+. Install Copper Express and Fabric API on both the client and server.

The packaged 1.0.0 JAR passed 17 automated Minecraft GameTests. Normal Gradle build, graphical gameplay, dedicated-server operation, connected multiplayer, and separate-process restart checks remain unverified. Back up your entire world and test in a disposable world before adding it to an existing save.
