Collapsible Groups
Collapsible Groups folds related items into groups in your JEI or EMI ingredient list. Keep all those colors of wool, glass, and building blocks together, then click a group whenever you want to see what's inside.
It runs on your client, and remembers which groups you've opened or closed.

Start with built-in groups
Vanilla blocks and many modded items already have groups ready to use. These include mods such as Chipped, Rechiseled, Macaw's Mods, AE2, and Refined Storage 2. Available integrations depend on your Minecraft version and loader.
In 2.0, you can turn individual groups on or off in the manager. Empty groups stay out of the way unless you choose to show them.

Make it your own
Create and edit groups without leaving the game. Search for ingredients, choose a name, and pick icons and colors to suit your setup. Items, fluids, and other ingredient types supported by your viewer can share the same group.

For groups that grow with your modpack, use rules to include whole tags or everything from a mod. You can combine conditions, exclude entries, or match a particular item variant. The preview helps you see what your rules include.

Share groups with your modpack
Group settings are saved as JSON files you can include in a modpack. The 2.0 beta also lets resource packs provide groups and translated names. On NeoForge, you can use KubeJS to create groups through scripts.
