What's new

CEI 0.1.5.1

Major fixes

  • No more freeze when pinning an item on large modpacks. The recipe index now builds across frames with a progress bar instead of all at once.
  • The crafting grid is no longer cleared when you click an item you don't have the components for.
  • World tab: trees, flowers and crops are finally listed. They never were.
  • Misaligned clicks right after opening your inventory are fixed — no more favouriting the wrong item, and no more clicking invisible slots.

Craft calculator

  • New — Prefer vanilla recipes (on by default): when several recipes make the same item, the base game's one wins. Can be turned off in the settings.
  • Craftable items are no longer reported as raw materials on large packs.
  • Correct totals: amounts rounded up, no more double-counting on circular recipes, and a tool is counted once instead of once per branch.
  • The shopping list shows the largest components first and tells you when it had to cut some.
  • The tree you see is the same from one session to the next.

Search

  • Accents are ignored: cle a molette finds Clé à molette.
  • Multiple words work: ingot iron.
  • Prefixes combine: @create ^cog.
  • No more typing lag on large packs.

Interface

  • "Pinned cards" and "Animations" actually turn off when you uncheck them.
  • Pinned cards no longer keep recipes from the previous world.
  • Tabs, the "+" button and the tip popup: the clickable area finally matches what's drawn.
  • The text cursor lands in the right place after autocomplete.
  • Panel title and a few missing strings are now translated.

Misc

  • Recipes refresh after a /reload.
  • Each build now only installs on the Minecraft version it actually targets.
  • Two settings that did nothing were removed, along with unused code.
  • Performance: far less repeated work per frame in the panel and item cards.
