Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Attract to Chat 2.1.2 for Minecraft 1.19.2 — per-player investigation particles and conflict-free Walkie-Chat coexistence.
- Investigation particles are now a personal choice: the old server-wide switch is gone and each player opts in with
/atc client particles enable|disable. Nobody sees particles until they ask. Existing configs migrate automatically. - Walkie-Chat runs side by side without conflicts: chat spoken through a handheld walkie is routed by Walkie-Chat and never double-processed, while normal chat keeps attracting mobs. The full walkie talkie integration is exclusive to Minecraft 1.20.1.
/atc statusreports the Walkie-Chat state when the mod is present;/atc walkiechat on|offtoggles the coexistence guard.- Forge: chat handling now listens at the lowest priority and receives canceled events, so attraction keeps working when other mods re-implement chat delivery.
- Internal, future-proof: an attraction dedupe guard ensures a message relayed through multiple paths attracts mobs only once — world reloads never leave it stuck and different messages are never swallowed.
Fabric requires Fabric API 0.76.0 or newer. Java 17 is required. Client installation is optional.
