Apothic Ascension

Adds new item tiers, gem tiers, loot rarity scaling systems, and overall massively raises the late-game ceiling for Apotheosis based packs.

What's new

Beta 13 is a compatibility-focused release that extends Apothic Ascension's provider resolver so multiple specialist mods can coexist without AA claiming behavior it does not own.

Highlights

  • Added audited specialist-provider records with version-aware, fail-closed ownership.

  • Added the magic_resource compatibility domain so mana/resource ownership can be resolved independently from affix ownership.

  • Ars 'n Spells can own Ars Nouveau and Iron's magic-resource semantics inside its audited version band.

  • Iron's Apothic remains authoritative for overlapping Iron affix semantics while native Iron resource behavior remains native where appropriate.

  • AA's Ars affixes remain available when no audited specialist owns those affix semantics.

  • Added coexistence handling for Apothic Category Compat, Extra Apoth Compat, and Fallen Gems & Affixes without suppressing unrelated AA behavior.

  • Expanded /apothic-ascension debug compatibility with provider audit and ownership state.

  • Added deterministic qualification profiles for specialist, multi-provider, fallback, and coexistence configurations.

Compatibility model

Beta 13 deliberately does not claim generic post-Mythic continuation for specialist-owned foreign affixes or gems. AA only extends foreign semantics where an explicit audited adapter exists; unsupported or out-of-band providers fail closed rather than being treated as qualified.

Validation

The release was validated with a clean Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge build, runtime-JAR audit, and isolated startup + datapack-reload qualification profiles covering Iron's Apothic, Ars 'n Spells, target-only fallbacks, and specialist coexistence, it's not comprehensive since my CI ability is limited so don't hesitate to let me know if you find any regressions.
