Also boosts the output of the existing recycling recipes (for 1.8+).
This script is meant to be used in modpacks that are either Vanilla+ or don't have many recycling options available. Any damage value is accepted for each recipe, and I tried to balance each recipe around this fact.
Currently supported items (feel free to suggest more in the comments or Discord server):
All armour & tool sets
- In the 1.14+ versions, Diamond and Netherite gear requires a Blast Furnace to smelt (and will be auto-added to mods that have their own Blast Furnace, such as Blast Cooking from Create). Netherite gives back Debris Scrap instead of Ingots.
- Chainmail gives Iron Nuggets and gives double the XP Iron does
- Note that Chainmail recipes only exist in Minecraft 1.11.1+
Horse Armour
Flint & Steel
- Mostly to be used with Loot Bags or mods that add it as dungeon loot
Anvils
- Each damage stage gives less, and you still get less than it costs to make them (for full iron return use another mod)
Bucket
Clock
Compass
Spyglass
Works with basically every version of Minecraft (as long as it has MineTweaker or CraftTweaker installed)
Installation instructions: Unzip the file and place the .zs file into your modpack's scripts directory.
Be sure to only use the file for the correct Minecraft version!
