MineTweaker allows you to customize your modpack or server with a simple scripting language. With a few instructions, you can add or remove recipes, change mod recipes, alter names, change furnace recipes, the ore dictionary, tooltips and many other things.
MineTweaker is often used to fix conflicting recipes and make recipes from different mods interact and balance with each other better. Scripts are sent from server to client, thus different servers using the same MineTweaker-enabled modpack may have different configurations without having to update clients.

In reply to gamingdude_21twitch:
Use crafttweaker
I installed the mod, and wrote the ''/mtrm'' command, and did my special recipe. But, it isn't working.
In reply to ugandanslothh:
Did you restart the game? only works like that.
any chance this will update to 1.12.2
i cant stand craft tweaker
You should buckle down and get used to CraftTweaker. The maintainer of Minetweaker is the owner of CraftTweaker. From my understanding Stanh is not updating this mod anymore hence Jared creating CraftTweaker for updated minecraft versions.
Jared you can correct me if I am wrong.

Ive been trying to figure this out. I am an old guy that is clueless and I am not learning this shit very well. I want to remove all of the shaped recipes for gears so you have to stamp them I.E. or Smelt them. Can someone drop the correct lines for me?
In reply to ArkaelDren:
Their website has some pretty decent tutorials:
http://minetweaker3.powerofbytes.com/wiki/Main_Page
To get the name of the item, you can usually hover over it in NEI/JEI/etc. The format is
<modname:itemname:meta>
modname would be for example minecraft or bigreactors or tconstruct
itemname is the code name of the item, not the name you see. For example, glowstone dust would be called glowstone_dust
Meta is the # after the item ID in NEI/JEI/etc. They're usually used to indicate the type of sub-item/sub-block. For example, both coal and charcoal are minecraft:coal, but coal is meta 0 and charcoal is meta 1. You can leave this out, in which case it acts as if you wrote 0, and you can also specify an asterisk (*) to specify that any meta ID is fine.
I'd drop the lines for you, but you didn't specify which gears you meant so I wouldn't be able to write the proper item names. It should be something like
recipes.remove(<mod:gear:*>);
You may also have to have multiple lines that look very similar for each gear you want to disable.
I hope that helps, even if a bit late. Good luck m8
Good Mod!
Why work only last recipe in avaritia(in script)?vanilla crafts is ok
je sait pas ce que c'est comme mod :'(
How can you add items to the ore dictionary with nbt tags (for example, minecraft:wool)? I'd just like an example of the format for reference.
Where's Minetweaker 2 and 1?
