Ever wanted to have spawners legit? Well now you can with added crafting recipes and the ability to use silk touch to mine them. The goal of this plugin is to create something similar to soul shards for the server side of minecraft without the need for a client side mod. You can read more below.

Features

• Break spawners with silk touch to get the spawner or break them with an unenchanted tool for a one in ten chance to get a spawn egg.
• Craft spawners with a spawn egg in the center of a crafting table and 8 iron bars surrounding it.
• You have a one in one-hundred chance of getting a spawn egg each time you kill a mob.
• All mobs other than boss mobs are included in the recipes for spawners including villagers.
• Now has 4 tiers of spawners with the spawn delay decreased in each tier.
• Spawners can be upgraded as follows:
  • Tier 2 - costs 1 spawn egg.
  • Tier 3 - costs 3 spawn eggs.
  • Tier 4 - costs 5 spawn eggs.
  • (Upgrade a spawner by right clicking on it with the same type spawn egg in the amounts above, the tiers go in order so you have to upgrade to tier 2 first then tier 3 then tier 4.)

Commands

• /srspawner [mob] [amount]
  • Adds a spawner/spawners to your inventory

• /srset [mob]
  • Sets the spawner you are looking at to the specified type

  • allows users to spawn mobs with eggs.

  • allows users to upgrade spawners to higher tiers

Configuration

• Has a list for spawners, eggs, and recipes so that you can set each individual mob to true or false for each list to control what is available on your server.

Future Plans

• Redstone mechanics to modify how the mobs are spawned.(i.e. turn the spawner on/off or use a clock to spawn mobs at specific time intervals)
