ChatterControl

This plugin was designed to make moderators and admins lives a little bit easier by censoring chat messages and allowing derogatory words to be replaced with acceptable words. This plugin also adds several tools for admins to use to prevent users from spamming other players with commands or chat messages.

Commands

• /chmute [player]

• Censoring or the option to replace words with other words.
• Easy to setup and minimal permissions to deal with.

• Players that use banned words in excess are flagged and admins can then see them in the flagged list using /chflagged
• Tools to block users from sending more than one identical message or command per minute(Configurable in the config file)

Configuration

All of the censored or replaced words are configurable through the config file as well as the spam settings and list of users flagged or muted.

Dependencies and Conflicts

There are no known conflicts or dependencies.

Future Plans

This will eventually include a small kicking/banning feature for players that have exceeded their warnings for spamming or using banned words as well as chat logging for admins. The chat logger will include only banned words unless it is set to record all of chat in which case it will record all infractions in a separate file from the regular chat log. The logging feature will run in a thread with a configurable time so that when that time limit is reached then it will create a new file and label the old file with the amount of time in hours that was logged. This may include chat rooms in the future but for now I am focusing on the core features.
