RR Nether Only - Survival Challenge

Whats up guys racing raftaar here. So today i am bringing you a really crazy challenge for your minecraft survival worlds. We all play normal survival where you spawn in the overworld, punch trees, make a house and just live peacefully.

It gets really boring after a few years of playing the same thing. I wanted to make something that forces you to survive in the absolute hardest environment possible. So i made the RR Nether Only addon. This behavior pack completely traps you inside the Nether dimension forever. There is no escaping to the overworld and there is no water to save you from burning. It is pure hell survival from the moment you spawn in the game.

​The Ultimate Nether Trap System

So how does this actually work. When you first create the world and spawn in, the game instantly detects that you are in the overworld. It will say welcome to hell on your screen and immediately teleport you to the nether at coordinate 65.

I actually wrote a super aggressive trap system for this. If you try to build a nether portal and escape back to the overworld, the game will catch you. It tracks your dimension changes and the moment you step out it says NO ESCAPE and throws you right back into the fire. I even made a backup system so if the normal teleport glitches out,

it will literally force spawn a box of obsidian around you and light a nether portal to push you through it automatically. You just cannot leave. And guys please remember DO NOT USE BEDS. If you try to sleep in the nether to set your spawn point the bed will explode and kill you instantly. You just have to survive.

​Live HUD and Stats Tracking

Since you are trapped in hell forever I wanted to give you some cool stats to look at while you suffer. The addon puts a live actionbar HUD right on your screen that updates every few seconds. It shows your exact play time in minutes so you know how long you have survived. It also shows your total kills and total deaths right next to it. It is super clean and does not cover your whole screen. Oh and if you hold a Compass in your hand and sneak it opens a huge UI menu.

This is your main survival menu. In this menu it calculates your exact K/D ratio automatically and shows you exactly how many times you tried to escape the nether. It tracks your jumps through portals. I also put a Tips button in the compass menu where you can read survival guides like how to trade with piglins or how warped forests are the safest place to hide from ghasts.

​Milestones and God Ranks

To give you a reason to keep fighting piglins and wither skeletons I added a massive ranking system based on your kills. Everyone starts as a Lost Soul when they join. But if you get 10 kills you become a Dweller. It goes up to Flame Walker, Demon Slayer and finally at 500 kills you become a Nether God. The game also tracks your milestones and rewards you for surviving. If you manage to stay alive and play for 1 hour or 3 hours or 6 hours in the nether,

the game plays an epic totem sound and broadcasts a massive announcement to the entire server so your friends know you are a true survivor. The same thing happens for kill milestones. Hitting 100 or 500 kills will blast a message to everyone. I also hid some funny easter eggs if you hit specific kill or death numbers like 69 or 420 but I will let you discover what those messages say.

​Beta APIs Setup

You guys know the rules for my advanced packs by now. Because this addon uses the new dimension checking scripts and dynamic properties to permanently save your kills and play time, you absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings. If you dont toggle this on before you load the world the teleport trap will completely fail and you will just be stuck in the normal overworld like a boring vanilla game. So please make sure to check that option.
