Description

Store your death items in a compact gravestone instead of scattering them across the ground.

Gravestone adds a small grave marker for Minecraft Bedrock survival gameplay. When a player dies in survival or adventure mode, their items are stored in a custom gravestone entity at the death location. The grave does not replace blocks, and players can recover items through a simple interaction menu.

Features

  • Creates a compact gravestone at the death location
  • Stores inventory, armor, and offhand items
  • Does not place chests or replace terrain blocks
  • Uses a custom grave model instead of a bulky storage block
  • Compact recovery UI with Take All, Inspect Items, and Drop Items actions
  • Inspect Items view shows item stacks with icons
  • Keeps remaining items in the gravestone if the player inventory is full
  • Removes the gravestone when all stored items are recovered

How to use

Install the add-on and enable it on your world.

When you die in survival or adventure mode, a gravestone appears where you died. Interact with the gravestone to recover your stored items.

Use Take All to recover everything that fits in your inventory, or Inspect Items to view and recover individual stacks. If your inventory is full, any remaining items stay in the gravestone.

Notes

This add-on is designed to preserve terrain and builds. The gravestone is an entity with its own inventory, so it does not need to place a chest under the ground or replace nearby blocks.

The add-on uses script behavior to protect and transfer items during death. It is intended for normal survival and adventure gameplay.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition
  • No additional behavior pack dependency required
