Description

GeoGen — Geography Generator

GeoGen is a stable chunk pregeneration tool for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, created by Two Friends Eat.

GeoGen allows world owners and realm/server administrators to pregenerate large areas of their Minecraft worlds before players explore them. This can help reduce the performance spikes and terrain-generation lag that normally occur when players travel into new chunks for the first time.

Features

  • Pregenerate large areas of your world from a chosen center point
  • Supports the Overworld, Nether, and End
  • Simple in-game configuration menu
  • Adjustable generation radius
  • Custom X and Z center coordinates
  • Live chunk-generation progress
  • Generation status command
  • Safe cancellation command
  • Uses stable Minecraft Bedrock Script APIs
  • No Beta API or experimental feature toggles required
  • Automatically restores temporary block changes used to ensure generated chunks are saved
  • Designed for stable and reliable world pregeneration

Commands

Open GeoGen

/geogen:pregen

Opens the GeoGen Tool menu.

From here you can select:

  • Dimension
  • Radius
  • X coordinate
  • Z coordinate

Check Progress

/geogen:status

Displays the current GeoGen pregeneration status.

Cancel Generation

/geogen:cancel

Safely cancels the currently running pregeneration process.

Radius

The radius determines how far GeoGen generates outward from the selected center point.

For example:

Radius: 400

generates approximately 400 blocks in every direction from the center, creating an overall area approximately 800 × 800 blocks.

Recommended Usage

GeoGen is intended primarily for world owners, realm/server administrators, map creators, and anyone who wants terrain generated before players begin exploring an area.

For best results, run GeoGen before heavily exploring the region you intend to pregenerate.

Larger generation areas will naturally take longer to complete and may place additional load on the device or server while generation is running.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition
  • Cheats enabled
  • Operator permissions for GeoGen commands

No experimental gameplay or Beta API toggles are required.

About

GeoGen is short for Geography Generator.

GeoGen was created to provide Minecraft Bedrock players with a simple, reliable way to pregenerate terrain using modern Bedrock scripting functionality.
