Description

Dynamite adds throwable explosive sticks for Minecraft Bedrock survival worlds.

Craft dynamite from TNT, carry it in stacks, and throw it like a compact explosive tool. Each stick flies as a custom projectile, explodes on impact, breaks a small area of blocks, and deals blast damage around the explosion.

Features

  • Adds a craftable Dynamite item
  • Converts 1 TNT into 9 dynamite sticks
  • Stacks up to 64
  • Custom thrown dynamite projectile
  • Explodes on block or entity impact
  • Breaks blocks in a smaller area than TNT
  • Deals radial blast damage around the explosion
  • Walls and solid cover reduce or block blast damage
  • Brief explosion lighting and smoke effects
  • 1-second throw cooldown to prevent spam
  • Fire-resistant dropped item

How to use

Craft Dynamite at a crafting table using TNT. Equip Dynamite, then use/right-click to throw.

Dynamite explodes when it hits a block or entity. It is useful for mining, clearing small spaces, opening terrain, and compact survival combat.

Crafting

Shapeless recipe:

TNT -> 9 Dynamite

Notes

Dynamite is intentionally smaller than TNT. It can break blocks, but the block-breaking radius is limited so it works as a throwable utility explosive instead of a full TNT replacement.

Blast damage is reduced by distance and by solid cover between the explosion and the target.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.0 or newer
  • No additional behavior pack dependency required
