Chunk Loader Lite keeps the chunk containing its placed block active, even when every player travels far away.
Place a Chunk Loader wherever a farm, redstone machine, or other ticking system needs to keep working. The loader covers exactly one 16×16 chunk, and clean cyan border lines appear whenever you step inside an active chunk so you can see its precise limits.
Features
- Exact one-chunk loading — each Chunk Loader keeps only its own 16×16 chunk active.
- Place-and-forget operation — place the block and the chunk activates automatically.
- Visible chunk boundaries — cyan lines show the complete border while you are standing inside an active chunk.
- No distant visual clutter — borders are hidden when you leave the loaded chunk.
- Persistent worlds — registered loaders are restored whenever the world starts.
- Reliable cleanup — breaking or destroying the final loader in a chunk stops that chunk from being kept active.
- Multiple loaders supported — loaders placed in the same chunk safely share one active area.
- Automatic recovery — placed blocks can restore their registration when their chunk is visited again.
- Capacity protection — if Minecraft has no remaining ticking-chunk capacity, the new loader is returned instead of becoming a misleading inactive block.
- Dimension support — works in the Overworld, Nether, and End.
- Vibrant Visuals compatible — does not disable Vibrant Visuals for the world.
How to use
- Import the
.mcaddon file into Minecraft Bedrock.
- Activate both the Chunk Loader Lite Behavior Pack and Resource Pack for your world.
- Craft a Chunk Loader and place it anywhere inside the chunk you want to keep active.
- Step inside that chunk to see its cyan 16×16 boundary.
- Break the loader when the chunk no longer needs to remain active.
Crafting
Crafting produces 1 Chunk Loader:
- 4 Obsidian
- 2 Copper Ingots
- 2 Redstones
Notes
- The loader keeps the chunk ticking; it does not force distant terrain to render on a player's screen.
- Game mechanics that normally require a nearby player, such as natural mob spawning, still follow Minecraft's normal rules.
- Loaders in the same chunk share one active area. The chunk stops being kept active only after the last loader there is removed.
- Minecraft controls the total ticking-chunk capacity available to the add-on.
- No commands, cheats, or experimental toggles are required.
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.0 or newer
- Both included Chunk Loader Lite packs must be active
- No external add-ons required
