Description

Full Dragon Rewards

A lightweight behavior pack for Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Education that makes every Ender Dragon fight feel as rewarding as the first.

The original first Ender Dragon encounter remains completely vanilla, including the normal full XP reward and original Dragon Egg.

After that, every respawned Ender Dragon receives restored rewards so repeat fights remain worthwhile without changing the first encounter.

Minecraft Bedrock & Minecraft Education

Full Dragon Rewards is designed for both Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Education.

The pack uses stable Minecraft scripting and a lightweight behavior-only implementation.

This makes it suitable for survival worlds, multiplayer worlds, Realms, compatible classroom environments, and group activities centered around progression or boss encounters.

First Dragon Fight

The original Ender Dragon fight is left untouched.

Players receive the normal 12,000 XP total and the standard Dragon Egg exactly as Minecraft normally provides them.

Repeat Dragon Fights

Respawned Ender Dragons normally reward significantly less XP than the first Dragon.

Full Dragon Rewards restores the missing 11,500 XP, bringing each repeat fight back to the same 12,000 total XP reward as the original encounter.

Each repeat fight also produces one additional Dragon Egg.

Dragon Egg Placement

After a repeat Dragon is defeated, the new Dragon Egg is placed on top of the exit fountain when the location is clear.

If an older Dragon Egg or another block is already occupying that position, Full Dragon Rewards does not destroy or replace it.

The new Dragon Egg is safely dropped as an item instead.

Multiplayer & Classroom Support

In multiplayer, the restored 11,500 bonus XP is divided evenly among players who were in The End when the Ender Dragon received the lethal damage.

This makes repeat Dragon encounters suitable for cooperative survival worlds as well as Minecraft Education activities involving teamwork, shared objectives, resource preparation, combat strategy, and collaborative progression.

Stable Bedrock Design

Full Dragon Rewards is a behavior-only pack, so it does not replace textures or resource-pack artwork.

It also does not replace the vanilla Ender Dragon entity.

The pack uses Minecraft's stable Script API and does not require Beta Script APIs or experimental gameplay features.

Current Stable API Limitation

Minecraft's stable Script API can directly award XP to players, but spawning an XP orb containing an exact custom amount requires functionality outside the stable implementation used by this pack.

Because Full Dragon Rewards prioritizes stability, the repeat Dragon still drops its normal vanilla XP orbs.

The missing XP is then automatically awarded after the death sequence.

The total reward still reaches the intended 12,000 XP.

Why This Pack Exists

Repeat Ender Dragon fights require End Crystals, preparation, and another full boss encounter, yet vanilla Minecraft provides substantially fewer rewards after the first fight.

Full Dragon Rewards makes repeat encounters worth completing while preserving the original first Dragon fight exactly as intended.

Compatibility

Full Dragon Rewards is designed for:
