A simple Minecraft add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Education that gives every player a fair way to earn a Dragon Egg.
Have you ever joined a Realm, multiplayer world, or classroom world where everyone rushes to defeat the Ender Dragon just to claim the one original Dragon Egg?
Craftable Dragon Egg removes that pressure.
Instead of limiting the Dragon Egg to whichever player reaches it first, this add-on allows players to earn another Dragon Egg through normal survival progression.
After the original Dragon Egg has been claimed, additional eggs can be crafted using 8 Crying Obsidian and 1 Dragon's Breath.
Place the Dragon's Breath in the center of the crafting grid and surround it with Crying Obsidian.
The recipe gives players a repeatable way to obtain the Dragon Egg while still requiring exploration, Nether resources, and progression through The End.
Craftable Dragon Egg works especially well in Realms, SMPs, multiplayer survival worlds, and Minecraft Education classroom worlds where multiple players or students may want the opportunity to earn the same progression reward.
Instead of encouraging everyone to race toward the first Dragon fight, each player can progress at their own pace.
For classroom or group worlds, this can also help prevent a single one-time item from becoming unavailable to everyone else after one student or group reaches it first.
The goal is not to make the Dragon Egg free or effortless.
Players still need to gather Crying Obsidian, reach The End, and obtain Dragon's Breath before they can craft one.
The add-on simply makes the reward renewable through meaningful survival progression.
