CHATGAMES — INTERACTIVE CHAT CHALLENGES

ChatGames is a customizable Minecraft Bedrock Edition addon that adds interactive chat-based games to your server. Players can compete in Math, Trivia, Jumble, and Typing Race challenges, with configurable rewards, messages, difficulties, and gameplay settings.

Everything is designed to be simple to manage, with an organized configuration menu, dedicated commands, customizable reward commands, and built-in English and Spanish language support. Whether you want quick challenges for a survival server, a fun activity for a community, or competitive events for multiplayer, ChatGames provides an easy way to add interactive games directly into chat.

GAMES

ChatGames currently includes several different game types, each with its own configuration options.

• Math — Players solve randomly generated math problems with configurable difficulties, number ranges, and answer limits.
• Trivia — Players answer trivia questions from configurable categories.
• Jumble — Players must unscramble a shuffled word.
• Typing Race — Players compete to type a generated phrase as quickly as possible, with an optional case-sensitive setting.

Each game can be independently enabled or disabled from the configuration menu.

COMMANDS

ChatGames uses its own dedicated /chatg: command system so every command is organized and easy to remember.

• /chatg:start — Starts a ChatGames round.
• /chatg:config — Opens and manages the ChatGames configuration.
• /chatg:lang — Changes your language between English and Spanish.

The configuration menu allows server owners to control the available games, gameplay settings, rewards, messages, and other addon options without needing to manually edit files.

REWARDS

ChatGames uses a flexible command-based reward system, allowing rewards to be almost anything Minecraft commands can provide.

Rewards can be configured for:

• 1st Place
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• Additional placements where enabled

You can use commands such as /give, /xp, /scoreboard, and other compatible Minecraft commands to create custom rewards. Multiple commands can also be assigned to a single placement.

This allows servers to reward players with items, experience, levels, scoreboard points, or other custom benefits.

MESSAGES

ChatGames provides customizable messages for events such as game starts, winners, and rewards. Game messages can display information such as the current game and difficulty. Configuration and system messages use the ChatGames prefix for consistency.

HOW TO USE

Getting started with ChatGames is simple. Use /chatg:config to open the configuration menu and choose which games you want enabled.

From there, you can configure each game individually, customize reward commands, edit messages, and adjust other gameplay settings.

Once configured, start a game using /chatg:start. Players can then answer directly through chat and compete for the configured rewards.

You can change the configuration at any time without needing to rebuild the addon. Each player can also select their preferred language using /chatg:lang EN or /chatg:lang ES.

LANGUAGE SUPPORT

ChatGames includes built-in support for:

Each player's language is saved individually, meaning players can use their preferred language without changing the language for everyone else.
