Description
Please Read Before Moving On!
The Icon Version Resource Pack is provided as a more compatible alternative. It keeps the medical items, interface, icons, sounds, and gameplay systems while removing most of the custom 3D treatment visuals. This version is recommended when using other packs that modify the player model or animations.
Only activate one Resource Pack version at a time:
- 3D Version – Includes custom treatment models and animations
- Icon Version – Better compatibility with other Resource Packs
This is an Alpha test version, this was basically a single devloped mod, beta tested by me and only me. If you find any bugs report in discord. Please and Thank you for your support.
The more support I get either by showing your appreciation, using my addon-on, helping with my add-on or joining my patron. All of this support will motivate me to continue updating this mod to something even better than anything. Thank you again!!!!
Use this addon alongside my other SWMC addons for the most complete experience. Some integrations and advanced features become available when the Medical pack is combined with SWMC: Blasters & Equipment, SWMC: Armor, and the other supported SWMC systems.
About the Addon
SWMC: Medical introduces an advanced medical and injury simulation to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Instead of relying only on Minecraft’s normal health system, the addon uses a custom scripted medical system designed for military roleplay, survival and PvP.
Players can experience localized injuries, bleeding, pain, broken legs, organ damage, stamina loss, unconsciousness, and coma. These conditions must be identified and treated using the correct medical equipment.
The system is designed to make injuries meaningful without turning every fight into an instant death. Surviving combat requires preparation, teamwork, proper treatment, and careful management of the patient’s condition.

Scripted Medical Health
SWMC: Medical replaces normal combat health with a more detailed virtual health system.
Each player can have up to 6000 Medical HP. The addon keeps track of this value separately from Minecraft’s normal hearts while the Medical system is active.
The medical system controls:
- Damage received
- Healing
- Bleeding damage
- Blood restoration
- Coma
- Treatment progress
- Injury effects
- Death and revival
This larger health scale allows different weapons, armor types, wounds, and treatments to have more detailed values than Minecraft’s standard 20-heart system.
When the Medical pack is used by itself, it provides its own compatible health display. When used with supported SWMC packs, medical information can be integrated into the wider SWMC HUD.
Body-Part Injuries
Damage can affect specific areas of the body instead of treating every hit the same.
Supported body regions include:
- Head
- Torso
- Left arm
- Right arm
- Left leg
- Right leg
Different hit locations can influence:
- Damage received
- Pain
- Bleeding chance
- Bleeding severity
- Fracture chance
- Organ damage
- Coma risk
- Movement ability
- Treatment requirements
Repeated hits to the same body part within a short period can accumulate additional trauma. Existing bleeding may also increase in severity when the same area continues taking damage.
This makes shot placement, armor coverage, and immediate medical treatment much more important during combat.
Bleeding
Wounds can cause different levels of bleeding:
- Light Bleeding
- Medium Bleeding
- Severe Bleeding
Bleeding is tracked separately across different body parts. A player may have more than one active wound at the same time, requiring multiple treatments.
Untreated bleeding gradually removes Medical HP and can eventually cause:
- Increased blood loss
- Higher pain
- Reduced combat effectiveness
- Coma
- Death
Different medical items are intended for different levels and types of bleeding. A small bandage may be enough for a minor wound, while heavier trauma may require a tourniquet, trauma dressing, blood replacement, or surgery.
Bleeding damage directly affects the medical system and is not intended to be absorbed by worn armor after the wound has already occurred.
Pain and Medical Effects
Damage can produce pain based on factors such as:
- Direct damage
- Blunt trauma
- Armor impact
- Hit location
- Repeated wounds
- Injury severity
Pain can progress through multiple levels and may cause effects such as:
- Pain sounds
- Camera movement or shaking
- Reduced awareness
- Darkness or blackout effects
- Movement penalties
- Difficulty continuing combat
Pain medication can help control these effects, but medications must still be used carefully as part of the larger treatment system.
Coma and Consciousness
Severe damage, blood loss, pain, and certain injuries can cause a player to enter a coma.
A player in a coma may be unable to move or properly control their character until their condition improves. Teammates must stabilize the patient, restore health, stop active bleeding, and use the correct treatments.
Head injuries can also carry an increased risk of unconsciousness or coma.
The coma system is designed to create opportunities for rescue and medical roleplay rather than making every critical injury result in immediate death.
Fractures and Organ Damage
Players may suffer additional injuries beyond normal bleeding.
Broken Legs
Either leg can become broken independently.
A broken leg may cause:
- Reduced movement speed
- Limping
- Increased stamina use
- Difficulty escaping combat
- The need for a splint
Damaged Lung
A damaged lung represents serious internal trauma and may affect the patient’s overall condition and ability to continue fighting.
Damaged Stomach
A damaged stomach represents another form of internal injury that may require advanced treatment or surgery.
These conditions can be viewed through the Medical Scanner and treated using the appropriate equipment.
Stamina
The addon includes a stamina system that works alongside injuries and medical conditions.
Stamina may be affected by:
- Sprinting
- Exhaustion
- Broken legs
- Pain
- Medical condition
- Movement penalties
- Other compatible SWMC systems
When combined with SWMC: Blasters & Equipment, stamina can also influence weapon sway and accuracy.
Medical Scanners
The addon includes two scanner types:
Medical Scanner
The Medical Scanner is used to inspect another nearby player.
It can display information such as:
- Current Medical HP
- Stamina
- Pain level
- Coma status
- Active bleeding
- Wounded body parts
- Broken legs
- Lung damage
- Stomach damage
- Active medication or treatment information
Personal Medical Scanner
The Personal Medical Scanner allows players to inspect their own condition without requiring another medic.
Scanners are useful for identifying which treatment should be used before valuable medical supplies are consumed.
Medical Equipment
The addon includes multiple types of treatment equipment.
Bandages and Dressings
- ASA Bandage
- ASAS Elastic Bandage
- Civilian Gauze
- TASA Trauma Dressing
These supplies can be used to treat wounds and control different levels of bleeding.
Tourniquets
- Auto Tourniquet
- Tactical Auto Tourniquet
- MedTech Auto Tourniquet
Tourniquets are intended for serious limb bleeding and emergency stabilization.
Splint
The Splint is used to treat broken legs and restore mobility.
SRL Liquid Injector
The blood-bag treatment restores lost Medical HP and helps stabilize patients suffering from major blood loss.
Surgical Kit
The Surgical Kit provides advanced treatment for severe wounds and internal injuries that cannot be fully treated with basic field equipment.
Syringes
Available syringe sizes include:
- 0.05 ml
- 0.5 ml
- 1 ml
- 3 ml
Syringes can be filled with supported medications and administered through the medical interface.
Injectable Medication
Supported medications include:
- Morphine
- Fentanyl
- Ketamine
- Epinephrine
- Amiodarone
- Calcium Chloride
- Etrapenem
- TXA
Different medications are intended for different medical conditions, dosage sizes, and treatment situations. Join the discord for information on how to use these medications or ready this document

Treatment Interface
Medical items open dedicated treatment menus rather than immediately applying a generic healing effect.
Through the medical interface, players can:
- Inspect their own condition
- Inspect another nearby player
- Choose a body part to treat
- Apply bandages and dressings
- Use tourniquets
- Treat broken legs
- Administer blood
- Perform surgery
- Use injectable medications
- Review current injuries and vital information
This helps prevent accidental treatments and allows medics to select the correct patient, injury, and item.
3D and Icon Resource Packs
3D Version
The 3D Resource Pack includes:
- Custom held medical models
- First-person treatment animations
- Third-person treatment animations
- Animated bandages and gauze
- Animated tourniquets
- Animated blood treatment
- Animated splints
- Animated surgical equipment
- Animated syringes and medications
- Custom player rendering files
This version provides the most immersive experience but may conflict with addons that modify:
player.entity.json- Player animations
- Player animation controllers
- Player render controllers
- First-person hand models
- Custom HUD files
Icon Version
The Icon Resource Pack removes the custom player-based treatment animations while preserving the Medical addon’s core gameplay and interface.
Use this version for:
- Better compatibility with other addons
- Worlds using custom player animations
- Packs that replace the player entity
- Packs with their own first-person systems
- Servers using several large Resource Packs
The medical mechanics are controlled by the Behavior Pack, so both Resource Pack choices use the same core treatment system.
