Stack Tweaks lets admins customize max stack sizes for Hytale items and blocks through an in-game GUI. Set individual values, apply category or global changes, search, sort, reset defaults, and manage modded items with /stacktweaks.
Use the in-game GUI to customize item and block stack sizes, set individual values, apply category or global multipliers, bulk-set exact stack sizes, or restore everything back to vanilla defaults.
Features
- In-Game Stack Size GUI — Manage stack sizes without editing config files.
- Items & Blocks — Supports the full loaded item catalog, including blocks, tools, weapons, armor, consumables, ingredients, and general items.
- Per-Item Stack Size — Set custom maximum stack sizes for individual items.
- Stack Multiplier — Apply values such as 0.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or higher using each item's default stack size.
- Category Multiplier — Apply a multiplier only to the currently selected category.
- Global Multiplier — Apply a multiplier across the entire loaded item catalog.
- Bulk Set Stack Size — Set an exact stack size for the current category or all items at once.
- Creative Inventory Categories — Item organization follows Hytale's Creative Library categories wherever possible.
- Category Cycle Button — Quickly cycle through All, Blocks, Items, Tools, Weapons, Armor, Consumables, and Ingredients.
- Search & Sorting — Search by item name or ID and sort by Creative Order, Name, Default, Current, or Changed.
- Changed Only Filter — Display only items currently using a custom stack size.
- Show Unobtainable — Optionally display normally unobtainable/internal items.
- Modded Item Support — Compatible items and blocks from other mods can automatically appear in the GUI.
- Reset Category — Restore the currently selected category back to default values with confirmation.
- Reset All to Default — Restore all stack-size overrides back to their original values.
- Give Item Controls — Quickly give selected items for admin testing.
- Save Protection — Changes are staged until Save & Apply, with unsaved changes clearly indicated.
Command
/stacktweaks
Opens the Stack Tweaks administration GUI.
Permissions
Available to server administrators/operators and players with:
mgg.stacktweaks.admin
Installation
- Place the plugin .jar inside:
AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Mods
Start or restart the server/world.
Run /stacktweaks.
Configure your stack-size settings and press Save & Apply.

- Hytale >=0.6.5 <0.7.0
- Java plugin
- Server version target: >=0.6.5 <0.7.0
Important Notes
- Stack multipliers always calculate from each item's original/default stack size and do not compound.
- Items without a custom override continue using their normal default maximum stack size.
- Category and global bulk changes are staged until Save & Apply.
- Lowering an item's maximum stack size does not necessarily force existing oversized stacks to split immediately.
- Stack Tweaks automatically discovers loaded vanilla and compatible modded items.
- Hytale Creative Library category information is used wherever available to keep items organized similarly to the vanilla creative inventory.
Support & Usage
If an item appears in the wrong category, is missing from the GUI, or does not respect its configured stack size, please report the item name or asset ID and the category it appears under.
