Green’s Potions adds six vanilla-friendly potions to Hytale: Water Breathing, Fire Resistance, Regeneration, Feather Falling, Strength, and Resistance, complete with custom recipes, status icons, and subtle footstep particles.
Description
Green’s Potions expands the original Simple Water Breathing mod into a lightweight, vanilla-friendly potion pack that adds several useful effects currently missing from Hytale.
The potions are designed to fit naturally alongside Hytale’s existing Alchemy system without changing the feel of normal gameplay.
Water Essence can be obtained from unbaited Fish Traps along with Salt Blocks and other items.

- Green’s Potions recipes are organized into their own Green’s Potions tab at the Alchemy Station.
- Water Breathing and Fire Resistance last 5 minutes.
- Regeneration, Feather Falling, Strength, and Resistance last 3 minutes.
- Water Breathing maintains your oxygen while underwater.
- Fire Resistance protects against fire damage.
- Regeneration gradually restores health.
- Feather Falling reduces fall damage.
- Strength increases physical melee damage.
- Resistance reduces incoming physical and projectile damage.
- Active potion effects use subtle, color-matched footstep particles near the player’s feet.
- Drinking another potion refreshes its effect duration.
- Drinking a potion returns 1 Small Empty Potion Bottle.
- Green’s Potions stack up to 10.
- Designed to fit naturally into Hytale’s existing gameplay and crafting systems.
Crafting
All Green’s Potions are crafted through the Green’s Potions tab at an Alchemy Station.
Each potion has its own ingredients and can be viewed directly from the crafting interface.
Installation
- Download the .jar file from the Files tab.
- Place the file inside your Hytale mods folder.
- Launch the game and confirm MGG:Green's Potions is enabled.
