ZoneFog
Volumetric fog looks amazing in some places (hello, Duskwood) and just gets in the way in others. ZoneFog remembers your choice for every zone and switches fog on or off automatically as you travel.
Features
- Clean, modern settings window
- Set fog On, Off or Default for the zone you are in with one click
- Choose what happens in zones you haven't configured yet
- List of saved zones: click the pill to flip ON/OFF, click X to remove a rule
- Minimap button
- Left-click: open the window
- Right-click: toggle fog in the current zone
- Drag: move the button around the minimap
- Waits until combat ends if you change zones mid-fight
- Lightweight, no libraries needed

/zonefog works as an alias. The commands are handy for macros.
How it works
ZoneFog simply changes the game's own volumeFog setting (the same as typing /console volumeFog 0 or 1) whenever you enter a new zone.
