Onyx Meter
A sleek, minimal skin for Blizzard's built-in damage meter.
Blizzard's own damage meter does the job, but it looks heavy: gold frames, shadows, a thick title bar. Onyx Meter gives it a clean, modern look without replacing it. You keep Blizzard's accurate numbers and all its Edit Mode settings. Only the look changes.
Features
- Flat, clean bars with a dark track, square icons and a soft highlight on mouse over.
- A header that gets out of the way: always shown, shown on mouse over, or hidden (Shift + mouse over). When it hides, the bars get the whole window.
- Your colours: class colours or one colour for every bar, names in class colour, and your own colours for the text, background, header and the thin top line.
- 6 bar textures (Flat, Smooth, Raid, Skills, Glaze, Blizzard) plus optional soft shading.
- 6 fonts, font size and outline.
- Adjustable opacity for the window and the bar tracks. At 0% only the bars stay on screen.
- Thin 1-pixel border and a slim header option.
- Skins the breakdown window (click a player) and every extra meter window too.
How to use
/onyx(or/om) opens the settings (Options > AddOns > Onyx Meter)./onyx headerswitches the header between Always, On mouse over and Hidden./onyx resetrestores the default look.- Bar height, spacing, text size, icons and the bar style stay in Blizzard's Edit Mode, and they work together with Onyx Meter.
Safe in combat
Onyx Meter never reads or changes the combat numbers. It only restyles Blizzard's frames, so it works with the game's combat data protection and adds no load while you fight.
