Description
WhatFor
Looted something and no idea if it's trash or if you need it for a quest? Hover it. WhatFor adds lines to the tooltip with the recipes that use it as a reagent and the quests that want it turned in.
Recipe lines show the icon of what gets crafted, the profession and the skill level. Quest lines show the quest ID so you can look it up.
* 1868 recipes from all 10 professions, 559 reagents
* 3851 quests, 3598 quest items
* Hold Shift on common reagents to see the full list
* Also picks up recipes from your own professions, including ones learned from scrolls
* No setup, no dependencies, works fine next to other tooltip addons
/whatfor - status
/whatfor item <id> - look up an item from chat
/whatfor off - turn it off
Quest data comes from [TBC-DB](https://github.com/cmangos/tbc-db) (GPL v3).
