vanThosUtility

Quality-of-life toolbox for World of Warcraft: Forever. Part of the vanThos addon series (vanThosBags, vanThosDB).

Every feature can be switched on and off on its own, and features that act on your behalf start switched off. Open the settings with /vtu, the minimap icon or the game's addon menu at the minimap. The search box in the title bar finds any setting.

Convenience

• Automation – accept invites from friends and guild, summons and resurrections; release in battlegrounds; decline duels; skip single-option gossip; accept and hand in quests (grey quests can be skipped); pick the most valuable reward; coin and upgrade arrow on quest rewards.
• Merchant & loot – sell grey and marked junk, repair (optionally with guild gold), protection list, Ctrl + right-click to mark junk, Alt + left-click to disenchant, merchant balance, help when your bags are full, no bind-on-pickup prompts.
• Loot feed – looted items, money, currencies and quest progress with icons.
• Mail – summary after opening, Collect sales with a list of single sales and buyers, Read all, expiry warning, new-mail notice.
• Supplies, XP & travel – low ammo / soul shard / reagent warning, quest XP marked on the XP bar, flight timer that learns your routes.

Chat & group

• Clickable links, copy chat, short channel names, timestamps for loot and system lines, sticky channels, no fading, throttled online/offline spam, whisper invite keyword.
• Chat filter – hide repeated messages, blocked words and guild roster spam; highlight your name and keywords.
• Instances – entries per hour and day with warnings, saved IDs.

Display

• Tooltips at the cursor, item level, item / spell / NPC / object IDs, target of unit.
• Hide key bindings and macro names, filter red error texts.
• Class and reaction colours on health bars, pet happiness warning.
• Auto-hide for action bars, menu, bags, XP bar and chat – like a taskbar.
• Dark mode for bars, frames, minimap, windows, chat and tooltips.
• Classic look – stone action bar with gryphons, classic buttons, golden player/target frames, segmented XP bar, classic micro menu.

Combat

• DoT / HoT preview on health bars and nameplates, split per spell, with a kill icon.
• Key bindings on the Cooldown Manager icons.
• Quest status and progress (3/8) on nameplates.

World & maps

• Minimap coordinates, round or square minimap, hide minimap elements, world map coordinates.
• Minimap button collector.
• Shimmer on ore, herbs, quest objects and containers; rare alarm.

System & graphics

• Performance display with FPS, latency, durability, gold / XP / gathering per hour.
• Graphics values beyond the game's sliders: ground clutter, view distance, detail distances, weather.

Works with vanThosBags

When vanThosBags is loaded, both addons share the merchant, junk, bags-full and loot feed settings.

Note

WoW: Forever does not give addons the combat log. The DoT/HoT preview works from what the game still provides and may be less exact than combat-log based addons used to be.
