Underheal

Healing add-on, focused very much around raid healing and ideal for use with mouseovers - uses the main raid frames

Underheal is a healer-focused raid and party healing addon for WoW Classic Era. It is built primarily around Priest healing, but is designed to be configurable enough for Paladins and Druids too.

The addon is built around Blizzard raid frames rather than replacing them completely. The aim is to keep the layout clean, readable, and fast, while adding the healing tools I always wanted from addons like Healbot without the clutter.

Underheal is heavily oriented around mouseover macro healing. Click-to-heal is supported, but the main workflow is intended to be: mouseover to heal, click when you want Underheal to handle a specific action such as buffing.

Features include:

- Ordered raid and party frames with configurable scale and spacing.
- Support for grouped raid layouts.
- A separate draggable tank panel, showing tanks in larger bars while keeping them in the main raid frames.
- A separate pet panel for monitoring raid pets.
- A personal self-healing bar that can always be shown, even while solo.
- Optional target-of-target healing frame for healing a boss target quickly.
- Incoming heal display.
- Threat indicators, including threat bars, red borders for high-threat players, and flashing alerts for newly tanking players.
- Out-of-range greying on health bars.
- Range and line-of-sight cast failure warnings.
- Mana stats panel showing mana usage, time to OOM, and target death estimate.
- Full-screen red low-health warning pulse.
- Full-screen blue OUT OF MANA pulse when a cast fails due to mana.
- Tank dispel warning alerts for dangerous polymorph situations.
- Dead, feign death, and mind control state labels.

Buff support includes configurable buff buttons on the raid frames, click-to-buff behaviour, missing-buff colours, class targeting, Fear Ward expiry warnings, and reagent fallback to individual buffs where possible.

Click-to-buff can be enabled or disabled separately. My own preference is to keep click-to-buff enabled because I use mouseover macros for healing, so I can keep rolling Fear Ward while healing normally. If buffs are not needed for a fight, the buff colours can be disabled and the frames return to normal health/debuff colouring.

Debuffs are shown using clear colours, such as purple for disease and red for magic. These can be configured so you only see the debuff types relevant to your class.

Underheal also includes a configurable “special power” system. For example, Priests can configure Power Infusion, choose a target class such as Mage, and optionally set a chosen player. When the spell is ready, the matching button and chosen player highlight clearly in the raid frames.

There is also a mouseover macro helper for creating safe WoW macros with options such as spell choice and trinket usage.

Underheal is still being actively improved, and feedback or suggestions are very welcome. You can usually find me on the Pyrewood Village cluster as Sideshowmel-Nethergardekeep or Melissues-Nethergardekeep.
