Underbid

Underbid is a deliberately small auction-house addon for World of Warcraft Classic Era.

It helps you buy, post and value items without turning the auction house into a spreadsheet.

Underbid is still in active development. Auctions involve real items and gold, so please start with cheap items and check every posting summary.

Easy Buying and Posting

• Shift-right-click an auction to buy it immediately.
• A configurable spending limit prevents expensive accidental purchases.
• Drag an item into Underbid to refresh its listings and suggest a price.
• Split a stack into multiple auctions automatically.
• Choose a 2, 8 or 24-hour duration; the default is 8 hours.
• Set your preferred percentage undercut; the default is 1%.

Underbid works prices out per item before calculating stack and auction totals. It will not post more items than you selected.

Safer Price Suggestions

Underbid uses current listings and recent history without blindly trusting the cheapest auction. Obvious extreme prices are filtered, conflicted markets are treated cautiously, and unusual manual prices require another confirmation.

If there is only one current listing, Underbid clearly says so and applies your normal undercut. If it has no auction price at all, its recommendation is Unsure.

Vendor and Disenchant Values

Tooltips can compare:

• Market price
• Historical average
• Vendor value
• Expected disenchant value
• Possible enchanting materials and their chances
• Whether auctioning, vendoring or disenchanting currently looks best

Bind-on-Pickup items ignore auction value. If Underbid cannot fully value the possible disenchanting materials, it says Unsure.

Disenchant values are estimates, not guaranteed results.

Scanning

Underbid scans the auction house in small pages so WoW remains responsive. A progress bar shows how far it has got, and scans can be cancelled.

Normal auction-house searches also update stored prices automatically.

Use /underbid materials when you only want to refresh enchanting-material prices.

Bag Categories

The optional bag browser groups auctionable items into categories such as herbs, potions, cloth, leather, ore, enchanting materials and recipes.

It is disabled by default and can be enabled through /underbid.

Share Prices with Friends

Underbid can exchange recent price summaries with up to six trusted friends. Add each person as Name-Realm; both players must add each other before anything is shared.

It does not share your gold, purchases, sales or bag contents. Shared prices older than 48 hours are not used for posting suggestions.

• /underbid stats — show how many locally priced items are stored
• /ubid — shorter command for Underbid

Dependencies

Underbid has no external dependencies.
