Improved Tracking Menu and automatic tracking switcher that cycles Find Herbs and Find Minerals while farming and reapplies tracking after death. Supports every tracking ability. Never lose track of the resources you're hunting.

Features

🎯 Tracking Menu // Left-click the mini-map button to pick from every tracking spell your character knows in one alphabetical list.

🚜 Farm Mode // Mounted, in Travel Form, or running with Ghost Wolf, it cycles between your selected tracking abilities so both herbs and ore show up on the mini-map — pausing on its own in combat, towns, instances, and flight paths.

🔁 Persistent Tracking // Auto-recasts your tracking spell after death, shapeshifts, and loading screens, so Find Herbs is already back before you finish your corpse run.

🐾 Automatic Target Tracking // Switch it on and targeting a beast tracks beasts, targeting an undead tracks undead — the rest of the pack lights up your mini-map while you quest.

📍 Free Placement Mode // Detach the tracking icon from the mini-map and drag it anywhere on screen, with circular or square borders and adjustable size.

Setup

1. Install the add-on, ideally using CurseForge or Wago.
2. Log in.
3. Left-click the new mini-map button and pick a tracking spell.
4. Mount up — Farm Mode handles the herb-and-ore cycling for you.
5. Type /te to tweak which abilities cycle, the cycle speed, target tracking, or icon placement.
6. All your nodes are belong to us. (=

How It Works

Supported Tracking Spells

The menu only ever shows spells your character actually knows, so it stays clean across alts and levels.

• Hunters // All tracking spells — Beasts, Demons, Dragonkin, Elementals, Giants, Hidden, Humanoids, and Undead.
• Druids // Track Humanoids, listed while you're in Cat Form.
• Warlocks // Sense Demons.
• Paladins // Sense Undead.
• Gatherers // Find Herbs, Find Minerals, and Find Fish.
• Dwarves // Find Treasure.

Minimap Button

Hover the button and the tooltip shows what you're tracking right now, whether Farm Mode is running, and — when it isn't — exactly why. The icon dims while Farm Mode is paused, so you can tell at a glance without reading anything. Rather keep using Blizzard's own tracking icon? Switch on Use the Default Tracking Button and it opens the Tracking Eye menu instead.

Silence Tracking Sounds

Farm Mode recasts a tracking spell every few seconds, and every cast makes a noise. Silence Tracking Sounds is on by default, so those casts stay quiet: it switches the game's sound effects off for a split second around each automatic cast and switches them straight back on. Only Farm Mode's own casts are muted — anything you cast yourself keeps its sound. Because the game gives add-ons one master switch rather than a per-spell one, another sound landing in that same split second can get clipped, which is why it's a toggle you can turn off in the options.

Key Bindings

Cycle Farm Mode Ability lives under Key Bindings in the game menu, in the Tracking Eye section. Tap it to jump the rotation forward on demand. It works with Farm Mode switched off, for those who prefer driving with a manual transmission.

Slash Commands

/te // Open the options panel.

Your tracking ability and Farm Mode setup are saved per character, so your hunter and your herbalist never trade settings.
