TotemForever
A clean, lightweight totem bar for Shamans, built from the ground up for the WoW Forever client.
Inspired by the original TotemTimers by Xianghar, the go-to totem addon for years. TotemForever is a new addon written from scratch for Forever, not a port. It brings back the TotemTimers-style workflow and works within Forever's combat restrictions.
Features
- One button per element (Fire, Earth, Water, Air) showing your selected totem, with a timer bar and countdown while it's up
- Totem menus: hover (or right-click) a button to pick any totem you know for that element
- Swap totems in combat: changing a button's totem works mid-fight
- Totem sets: save up to six sets of four totems and switch between them with one click, even in combat
- Drop button: cast your totems one click at a time as a sequence, or use Call of the Elements once you've learned it
- Quick actions: right-click destroys a totem, middle-click casts Totemic Recall
- Warnings when a totem is about to expire, has expired or was destroyed, shown on screen or in chat, with optional sounds
- Extras: pulse bar for ticking totems, a marker when another totem than your selected one is up, and an optional out-of-range indicator
- Key bindings for each element, the drop button and every set
- Profiles, plus optional action-bar macros that stay in sync with your selection
Built for WoW Forever
WoW Forever hides some totem details from addons during combat. TotemForever works around this:
- Timer bars are drawn by the game itself, so they stay accurate in combat.
- The countdown text uses totem durations the addon learns out of combat.
Tip: cast each totem once out of combat and its timer will be accurate from then on.
Totems are detected by name from your spellbook, so new ranks and Forever's own totems are picked up automatically.
