What's new

Changelog

1.6 - Combat Warnings, Flexible Placement, and Fresh Defaults

  • Added a master Combat Warnings toggle, a dedicated Combat Warnings options page, and separate TURN and PARRY configuration pages.
  • Added PARRY detection for attacks against the current target, with independently configurable PARRY text, sound, color, size, and position. PARRY temporarily takes priority over TURN when both cues apply.
  • Added separate TURN and PARRY sound selections, including four bundled TMR sound effects: Arnold Stop It, Behind You, Dawg, FAAAH, and MGS Alert.
  • Added visual-only combat-warning preview controls and /tmr warningpreview so TURN and PARRY size and placement can be tuned without waiting for combat events.
  • Added independent Target Nameplate / Screen Center placement controls for Combat Warnings and the integrated Swing Timer. The Range Icon remains nameplate-bound for its original melee-spacing role.
  • Added /tmr warninganchor center and /tmr swinganchor center, with nameplate available to return either display to its original placement.
  • Added a Show Range Icon toggle, allowing the range badge visuals to be hidden while retaining TURN, PARRY, and/or the swing timer.
  • Replaced the old reset button with Reset Layout & Placement, which restores visual geometry and anchors without changing feature choices, colors, sounds, or minimap preferences.
  • Added Restore Fresh Install Defaults with a confirmation prompt to restore the complete default configuration.
  • Refined fresh-install defaults: smooth swing animation is enabled, the Range Icon sits at -28, TURN and PARRY use -6 vertical offsets, TURN selects Behind You, Dawg, and PARRY selects MGS Alert while warning sounds remain disabled until enabled by the player.

1.5 - Queued Swing Timer Fix

  • Fixed the integrated swing timer so Heroic Strike and Cleave reset it like normal auto-attacks when they hit or miss, across all learned ranks.

1.4 - Class Range Sources, Reset Layout, and Options Polish

  • Added class-aware melee range probes so TMR can use close-range abilities beyond Warrior Hamstring, including Hunter Wing Clip, Rogue melee abilities, and supported Druid, Paladin, and Shaman melee-range checks.
  • Added /tmr rangeprobe and a Current Range Check readout on the Range Icon Options page to show which melee ability is currently being used for live range checks.
  • Added a Reset Layout Defaults button on the main options page, plus /tmr resetlayout, to restore the current visual layout defaults without changing colors or sound settings.
  • Hid Warrior-specific queued Heroic Strike / Cleave controls on non-Warrior characters so the Swing Timer Options page is cleaner for other melee classes.
  • Refined the main options page with a bottom-left About footer, a better-placed addon icon, and clearer top-level controls.
  • Reworded several options for clarity, including Range Icon terminology, the integrated swing timer toggle, and the experimental live facing check.
  • Updated preview messaging and the preview scale so the sample display better matches the in-game layout.
  • Updated documentation for melee range sources, reset layout, preview mode, and the broader class support direction.

1.2 - Release Candidate Layout, Queued Attacks, and Preview

  • Added Heroic Strike and Cleave queued-attack detection for Warriors, with configurable swing timer and weapon speed number colors while either ability is queued.
  • Changed the default normal swing timer and weapon speed number color to bright Blizzard blue #18BFFF, with Heroic Strike #C05326 and Cleave #BCE14E as the default queued colors.
  • Kept the normal swing timer fill color stable unless a queued attack is active, so the swing timer color has a clearer single meaning.
  • Added a flat corner-marker range badge style and made it the fresh-install default.
  • Added flat badge background shading alpha and corner-border alpha controls.
  • Updated fresh-install layout defaults to a compact 78 by 46 range badge below the target healthbar, -25 vertical offset, and 1 pixel badge-to-swing spacing.
  • Moved the swing timer outside the range badge and added configurable badge-to-swing spacing.
  • Added swing speed number side and vertical-position controls.
  • Changed the swing timer border cue to show while the target is IN, making the bar more readable when the target is hittable.
  • Added a Preview toggle on the Range Icon and Swing Timer options pages, plus /tmr preview, to show a sample badge and swing timer without needing a target.
  • Polished the options UI layout, including clearer swing speed number labels, tooltips, better page spacing, and aligned color controls.
  • Added slash commands for the new layout controls: /tmr spacing, /tmr badge, /tmr flatbg, /tmr flatborder, /tmr speedside, /tmr speedpos, /tmr queued, and /tmr preview.

0.1.12 - Flat Badge and Swing Speed Controls

  • Made the flat corner-marker badge style the fresh-install default.
  • Changed the fresh-install badge-to-swing timer spacing default to 1.
  • Added flat badge background shading alpha and corner-border alpha controls.
  • Added slash commands /tmr flatbg, /tmr flatborder, /tmr speedside, and /tmr speedpos.
  • Added Swing Timer Options buttons for swing speed number side and vertical position.
  • Added Range Icon Options controls for flat badge style and flat badge alpha tuning.
