TonkedMeleeRange

TonkedMeleeRange is a lightweight PvP helper for Warriors in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic / Anniversary. It is designed to make melee-kiting feel clearer by showing practical range, facing, and swing-timing information near your target nameplate.

Features

Range Icon
Shows whether your current target is inside or outside your melee range.

IN / OUT Text
Optional text inside the range icon for quick readability.

Facing Notification
Shows a subtle TURN warning when you appear to be in melee range but are not facing your target.

Swing Timer
Tracks your main-hand swing so you can better time when to step into range for your next attack.

Sound Alert Options
Optional sound notification when the TURN warning appears, with selectable built-in sounds.

Customizable Display
Adjust icon size, shape, scale, colors, swing timer size, swing speed text, and whether the display appears above or below the target healthbar.

Minimap Button and Slash Commands
Open the options menu with the minimap button or /tmr.

Who Is This For?

This addon is primarily built for Arms Warriors in PvP, especially players who want cleaner feedback while practicing melee spacing, hamstring kiting, swing timing, and range dancing in battlegrounds or world PvP.

It does not automate gameplay or play for you. It simply presents available range and combat feedback in a compact, readable way.

Commands

• /tmr - Show available commands
• /tmr options - Open the options menu
• /tmr above - Move the display above the target healthbar
• /tmr below - Move the display below the target healthbar
• /tmr minimap - Toggle the minimap button

Notes

TonkedMeleeRange uses the range and combat information exposed by the game client. Some edge cases may still occur due to server timing, latency, or the way melee range is evaluated in Classic.
