New: Collectable tasks

  • New Collectable task type: choose expansion, category (Mounts, Pets, Toys, or Other), pick from the built-in list, add optional notes, set your goal, and whether progress resets (none, daily, or weekly).
  • First catalog entries are mostly mounts tied to rare daily bonus quests: MidnightRootstalker Grimlynx, Vibrant Petalwing; Eversong WoodsCerulean Hawkstrider, Cobalt Dragonhawk; Ghostlands / Amani–WitherbarkEscaped Witherbark Pango, Amani Sharptalon; Sanguine / StormraySanguine Harrower, Augmented Stormray. Progress goes up by 1 the first time each linked daily completes after you install the update or after the game starts a new daily cycle for that quest.

Collectables — fishing (Nether Swept Drake)

  • For the Nether Swept Drake mount, progress can also come from fishing in the supported areas (open water in the Voidstorm region, or fishing pools on the right maps), in addition to the usual quest-based progress on the same task.
  • Collectable tasks can rely on quests only, fishing rules only (where the catalog supports it), or both; when the catalog already covers fishing, you do not have to link quests on the task.

Task list

  • Removed the small per-row revert icon. Ctrl+left-click the row to clear a manual override (same as before).
  • Registry rows: Right-click the row or the #/# counter to lower progress by 1, even when Require Shift for row increments is on (left-click still follows that setting). Fixes cases like Fortify-style counters where you could not reduce the count from the numbers alone.
  • Registry rows: Left-click when already at max (or at zero) no longer saves a “manual” state when nothing actually changed.

Advanced tasks

  • Items and currency tasks now keep their automatic counts updating in the background while a manual lock is on, like mob and collectable tasks. Ctrl+left-click clears the lock and shows the live automated total again (for both “earned” and “current total” styles).

Season 1 weeklies (registry)

  • Weeklies that share a pool of quests (e.g. Lost Legends, Fortify the Runestones, Halduron’s Weekly): finishing a different quest in the pool last week no longer counts as progress this week. After each weekly reset, only new completions since the reset move the bar (same idea as advanced Quest tasks with a weekly reset).
  • Void Assaults: either of two assault quests can complete the row for the week; leftover completion on the other one does not block you.
  • Special Assignment: quest list updated; still 2 completions per week from the pool, with the same weekly logic. If you update mid-week, the addon runs a one-time adjustment so the bar matches the new quests.
  • Special Assignment reward hint: Fabled Veteran's Cache at 233 item level, with the same pinnacle-pool rules as other Season 1 pinnacle hints.
  • Special Assignment pinnacle tracking: finishing both assignments (1 and 2) now correctly uses two weekly pinnacle slots when both are done, not only when the row shows 2/2.
  • Shared pinnacle pool: when the weekly pinnacle pool is full (e.g. 2/2), rows no longer behave as if a pinnacle slot is still free — the hint moves on to the next reward tier or shows none, instead of staying on pinnacle for rows that already used a slot.
  • Removed Unity Against the Void and Saltheril's Soiree from the Season 1 Weeklies list; existing saves drop those rows automatically.

Modules (Midnight)

  • Options → Modules → Midnight: Season 1 Weeklies is renamed Patch 12.0.0; added subsection Patch 12.0.5.
  • Prey tasks (Prey: Normal through Prey: Nightmarish) are listed under Patch 12.0.0 with the other Midnight weeklies that stay on that patch.
  • Void Assaults and Ritual Sites moved to Patch 12.0.5 in Modules.
  • New weekly registry row Delve Duels (quest 93870), 1 completion per week, under Patch 12.0.5.

Task list (tree)

  • Default and migrated trees use Patch 12.0.0 and Patch 12.0.5 groups at the root instead of separate Prey and Season 1 Weeklies groups. On first load after updating, existing saves merge the old groups into the new ones while keeping each row’s state.

Mob kill tasks

  • Automatic counting from the world, loot, and combat log is turned off while you are in a dungeon, raid, scenario, arena, or battleground, where those signals can be wrong or cause errors. Boss tracking at the end of an encounter still works in instances.

Performance and fixes

  • Instance detection for the mob-kill pause is lighter and refreshes when you change zones so it stays accurate.
  • Fixed task and registry names not updating their color when you set or clear a manual override until you collapsed the group; they now update together with the checkbox and #/# counter.
