TankiLight

TankiLight gives tanks a quick, readable answer to the most important dungeon question: **Can I pull the next pack, or will this become a learning experience?**

A movable circular traffic light shows the group's current readiness as **green, yellow or red**, together with a weighted readiness percentage. Hover over it to see exactly what is holding the group back.

What TankiLight checks

• Tank health
• Combined group health
• Combined healer mana
• Combined mana of mana-using damage dealers
• Dead and offline group members
• Missing Stamina buffs when a Priest is present
• Missing Intellect buffs when a Mage is present
• Missing Mark of the Wild when a Druid is present
• Paladin blessing and aura coverage on supported clients
• Blessing of Salvation on the tank
• Righteous Fury for Classic Paladin tanks
• Thorns on tanks when a Druid is present on supported Classic clients
• Crusader Aura during combat—your horse is parked now

If tank or healer roles were not assigned manually, TankiLight attempts to infer them from player specializations. On supported Classic clients it can inspect talent trees outside combat to identify likely tanks and healers.

The traffic light

• **Green:** The group looks ready. Green means go!
• **Yellow:** No hard blocker, but resources or buffs could be better. Mana low, go slow.
• **Red:** At least one showstopper needs attention before the next heroic act of confidence.

Controls

• **Left-click:** Play a short press animation and post a compact readiness report to Instance, Raid or Party chat
• **Left-drag:** Move the light without posting a report
• **Right-click:** Lock or unlock the position
• `/tankilight status` or `/tl status`: Print the current status locally
• `/tankilight lock`, `/tankilight unlock`, `/tankilight reset`

The position and lock state are saved between sessions.

Compatibility

TankiLight supports current Retail, Mists of Pandaria Classic, Titan Reforged, Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary and Classic Era clients.

Player-facing text is localized for every WoW client language: English, German, French, European and Latin American Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Philosophy

TankiLight does not replace awareness, communication or good judgment. It simply puts them into a colorful circle so the tank might notice them before charging around the corner.
