AutoComprehend
A small scroll-deciphering helper for Mages in WoW Forever.
AutoComprehend selects an eligible untranslated scroll from your bags and prepares Comprehend Scroll on a movable button. Click the button or use your keybind for each attempt. After a scroll is consumed, the next eligible scroll is selected.
Features
- Mage only: other classes do not initialize the button or inventory monitoring.
- One button or keybind: assign “Comprehend next scroll” in WoW's key bindings.
- Scroll counter: displays the number of eligible scrolls, including stacks.
- Movable interface: right-drag the button; its position is saved.
- Conservative selection: recognizes eight documented scroll IDs, with an exact English tooltip fallback for additional scrolls. Ordinary items are not selected simply because their names contain “Scroll”.
- Combat protection: actions are disabled during combat and refreshed afterward.
- Localized interface: English, German, French, Spanish (European and Latin American), Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Language availability in the game depends on the client.
- Diagnostics: inspect candidates, item IDs and spell status in game.
Getting started
- Install AutoComprehend and restart WoW.
- Log in as a Mage who has learned Comprehend Scroll.
- Carry eligible untranslated scrolls and click the button outside combat.
- Wait for the attempt to finish, then click again for the next attempt.
Each protected action requires your own click or keypress. AutoComprehend does not cast on a timer, repeat casts while you hold a key, or modify bag right-clicks.
