StormIgnoreMax+ brings shared ignore management and customizable chat filtering together in one addon for World of Warcraft Classic Era.

Keep your ignore list consistent across your characters, remember why someone was ignored, filter unwanted messages, and review what was blocked—all from one window.

Features

• Shared ignore list: Keep ignore entries and removals synchronized across characters using the same account’s saved data.

• Personal notes: Record why you added someone to your list.

• Optional expiration dates: Set temporary ignores or keep entries indefinitely.

• Customizable chat filters: Create your own rules, test sample messages, and enable or disable filters individually.

• Included filter presets: Choose which preset filters suit your chat preferences.

• Duplicate-message suppression: Filter repeated messages by sender and message, or by message alone.

• Blocked-message history: Review blocked messages and the reasons they were hidden.

• Block counters: Track overall and per-rule filtering activity.

• Chat exemptions: Configure exemptions for your own messages, whispers, guild chat, and group chat.

• Invite warnings: Receive a warning before inviting an ignored character, with the option to deliberately continue.

• Convenient access: Open the addon through chat commands or Blizzard’s AddOns options menu.

Why we made it

We wanted a practical way to manage unwanted chat across our characters while giving players control over what gets filtered. StormIgnoreMax+ combines shared ignores, useful notes, flexible rules, and a history that helps explain what the addon is doing.

Beta status and WoW Forever

This is a Classic Era Beta. More features and improvements are planned as testing continues.

We also intend to release for WoW Forever, following separate compatibility testing. Forever support is not yet verified in this release.

About shared ignores

Sharing applies to characters using the same account’s SavedVariables within the same installation and client. It does not automatically transfer lists between separate subscriptions, computers, or clients. Addon-side filtering does not increase the game server’s native ignore capacity.
