SlashikCombatUtils

A lightweight, modular combat display for WoW Retail, starting with a dedicated Blood Death Knight tracker.

Inspired by a classic WeakAura layout, it keeps important buff information together near your character:

• Center: Bone Shield stacks.
• Left: Bone Shield’s remaining duration.
• Right: Death and Decay’s remaining buff duration.

Bone Shield warnings

When aura values are readable, the curved indicators show:

• Green: 5 or more stacks.
• Dark yellow: 1–4 stacks.
• Red: No Bone Shield, with optional bouncing animation.

During combat, all three numbers use matching white text. When Retail restricts aura values, the display uses neutral gray lines and mirrors available Blizzard stack and countdown text.

Customization

• Enable or disable the module.
• Show the tracker only in combat.
• Toggle either buff timer.
• Enable or disable the red warning’s bounce.
• Adjust display size.
• Drag the preview to position the tracker.
• Use live X/Y coordinates for precise placement—0, 0 is screen center.
• Settings and position persist between sessions.

Tracking and previews are available only for Blood Death Knights.

Getting started

Open settings with /scu or /slashikcombatutils.

For combat tracking, enable Blizzard’s Cooldown Manager, add Bone Shield and Death and Decay to its tracked buffs, and enable countdown text.

Midnight compatibility

SlashikCombatUtils respects Retail’s restricted aura data. Combat numbers depend on the display information Blizzard makes available. Stack-based colors and missing-buff bouncing are available only when the underlying values can be read. Unavailable stack data displays ?, and unavailable timers remain blank.

Death and Decay tracking shows the player buff’s remaining duration, not the ability’s cooldown.
