Simple Loot Tracker is a lightweight farming-session addon for WoW TBC Classic Anniversary focused on practical drop tracking.
It intentionally avoids item valuation and market pricing systems. The goal is to answer simple farming questions fast:
- How many of each useful item have I looted this run?
- How quickly am I getting each item (
#/hr)?
- How much raw coin have I looted so far (
gold/hr)?
- Which mob types are contributing to a specific item?
Core Features
- Session-based tracking (
/slt start, /slt stop, /slt reset).
- Tracks looted item quantities during an active session.
- Excludes gray/poor-quality items from tracked loot.
- Shows per-item farm rate as items per hour.
- Tracks raw looted coin and shows total money plus gold-per-hour.
- Provides expandable per-item detail rows with per-mob-type performance (
drops / kills (drop%)).
- Movable tracker window that remembers last position across reloads/logins.
UI/Workflow
- Use
/slt start to begin a fresh farm session.
- The main list shows item link/name, total count looted, and rate per hour (
#/hr).
- Click a row (
[+] / [-]) to expand mob-type details for that item.
- Use
/slt report for a concise chat summary of current totals and rates.
Slash Commands
/slt start - Start a new session and clear previous session data./slt stop - Stop the session timer and freeze rates at that elapsed time./slt reset - Clear current session data (keeps running if already active)./slt show - Show the tracker window./slt hide - Hide the tracker window./slt report - Print current totals/rates to chat./slt help - Show command help.
Data Model Notes
- Item counts are sourced from self loot chat events for reliable quantity capture.
- Raw money tracking is sourced from loot money chat events only.
- Mob-type kill counts come from combat log
PARTY_KILL events credited to player/pet.
- Item-to-mob attribution uses loot source GUIDs from loot window events.
- Per-mob drop percentages are calculated per selected item as
item drops from mob type / kills of that mob type during session.
Intended Use
SimpleLootTracking is designed for focused material farming (cloth, rep drops, crafting mats, etc.) where quick counts and practical rates matter more than auction value estimates.
It is built to stay readable and low-friction during active farming loops.
