OlympusWatch
Track, hunt down, and camp PvP-flagged Olympus opponents in WoW Forever. OlympusWatch is built for coordinated world PvP against Olympus and its offshoot guilds: find recent sightings, rally nearby players, and organize attacks or camping at reported encounter areas.
It works for Alliance and Horde, tracking watched guild members of the opposing faction who are visible and PvP-flagged when spotted. Guild names containing Olympus are discovered automatically, and recent sightings are shared with other addon users.
Open the Nearby tab to see where opponents were reported in your current outdoor zone during the last 15 minutes. Use the map, contact the reporter, request help, or ask for a party invite to coordinate your hunt. Fighting and camping are carried out by players in game; the addon provides reports and coordination tools.
Features
- Nearby encounters: reports in your current outdoor zone from the last 15 minutes, with approximate locations, report age, guilds and reporter details.
- Quick coordination: set a map waypoint, whisper the reporter, request help or request a party invite. Invitations are manually accepted by the reporter.
- Readable crowds: reports are grouped into encounter areas instead of displaying thousands of player names.
- Personal visibility: inspect guild faction, visibility and source; hide false matches or show a globally excluded guild personally. Your choices survive synchronization.
- Separate rulesets: PvP, PvE, RP and Hardcore lists and channels stay separate.
- Simple interface: Nearby, Guilds and Settings in one window, plus a draggable minimap button.
Getting started
Install the addon and reload WoW, then type /ow or click the minimap button. Enable enemy nameplates for detection. No companion app or other addon is required for players.
This release targets WoW Forever, Interface 16001.
Reading a report
Reports use approximate observer locations. Players may have moved and layers are unconfirmed. Older sightings are history rather than a current enemy position; counts describe observations rather than the current crowd size. Grouping does not guarantee a layer transfer.
Sightings and help requests are disabled in cities and instances. Guild discovery can still occur there. Sharing requires reachable online addon users of the same faction and ruleset. Individual addons do not read an external database directly.
