Shadowflare

Know the moment a warlock proc lands. Shadowflare shows a clear alert when a proc makes your next spell instant or faster, and hides it as soon as you cast it.

Made for warlocks in World of Warcraft: Forever, by the author of Travelcraft.

Procs

• Shadow Trance (Affliction, Nightfall talent): your next Shadow Bolt is instant.
• Decimation (Demonology): Soul Fire casts faster and costs no Soul Shard.

Each proc has its own alert: its own style, color, size, sound and place on screen. Both can show at the same time.

Features

• Pick a class, then a proc in the options. Each proc shows its spec next to it, so you know which one is yours.
• 20+ looks to choose from, each with a live preview:
  • Modern styles drawn for Shadowflare: Arcs, Crescent, Ring, Shockwave, Sigil, Brackets, Icon, Modern glow, Bar and Text.
  • Classic styles: the game's own proc art (Nightfall, Backlash, Molten Core, Demonic Core and more), as found in your game client.
• Your color: five presets (violet, fel, shadow, fire, frost) or any color from the game's color picker.
• Size and opacity of your choice.
• Time left on the alert, or in its own frame that you can place and size separately.
• Sound: pick one of six Shadowflare sounds, or none. For Shadow Trance you can also keep the game's own proc sound. The two never overlap.
• Easy placement: the options step aside and a grid shows up, like the game's Edit Mode. The alert snaps to it, so centering takes a second.
• Glow on the edges of the screen, if you want the proc impossible to miss.
• Works in combat: the game hides your buffs from addons during a fight, so Shadowflare follows the cast time of the spell each proc speeds up.
• Light: nothing runs between procs.
• What's new window once after each update.
• In English and French.

Getting started

Type /flare to open the options (Options > AddOns > Shadowflare), then choose your proc.

• /flare test: show the chosen proc's alert for 10 seconds
• /flare move: place the chosen proc's alert and its time left
• /flare notes: see what's new
