Red Flag
Know who you're dealing with — before you group up.
Red Flag is a private player and guild blacklist for TBC Anniversary. Keep your own list with notes, and get a private warning the moment a flagged player whispers you, invites you, or ends up in your group.
No public shaming
Red Flag is a personal tool, not a pillory.
- It never posts anything in say, yell, party, raid, guild or any other chat channel.
- It never whispers or notifies a flagged player – they won't know they are on your list.
- Warnings are only visible to you: a chat message in your own chat window, a popup and/or a light sound.
- Your list and notes are stored only on your computer and are never sent anywhere.
Features
Players and guilds
- Blacklist individual players or entire guilds.
- Players are tracked by GUID, not just by name – renamed characters stay flagged, and you get a chat notice when a flagged player changes their name.
- Add by target, by name, or with a slash command. Players added by name get their GUID filled in automatically the first time you see them.
Your list, on every character
- One list for your whole account – available on all your characters.
- A personal note for every player and guild, shown in warnings and tooltips.
- Searchable, scrollable list with class colours.
Warnings
Get warned when a blacklisted player (or a member of a blacklisted guild):
- whispers you
- invites you to a group
- is in your group or raid
- is invited by you
Each warning is only shown to you – as a chat message in your own chat window, a popup and/or a light sound (soft ding, map ping or raid warning), each individually switchable. Choose how often the same player may warn you again: every time, once per 1, 5 or 15 minutes, or once per session. Blacklisted players also show your note in the unit tooltip.
Your data is safe
- No names are shipped with the addon – everything lives in your own saved variables.
- Automatic backup on every logout/reload, restored automatically if your list ever fails to load.
/rf restorebrings back missing entries from the backup at any time.
